It would be good if whoever does the website to put up a wee FAQ article on how things will play out. Since i'm sure there will be plenty of questions over how the Conferences are going to work now that the football is back.

There are plans to do that but currently struggling with a bout of covid, hence why behind on some stuff

Sorry to hear that! I hope you feel better soon.

Oh Right. So It's going to be WoSFL: Premier Division, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3 (and if necessary Division 4).

Could you please provide a link for the decision not to call the second league "championship" in the new system, and how the leagues will be made up next season in terms of conference finishing places, etc?

From memory Kennie said on a podcast it would be First/Second/Third Division. And I think he said the reason for avoiding championship is that it means you have the very awkwardly named West of Scotland Football League League One/Two as your bottom tiers (plus it's just a poor copy of the SPFL).

2022-23 season :-
Premier Division will consist of the top 13 in this season's Premier + the three Conference winners.
Division One will be the bottom 7 in this year's Premier + 2nd, 3rd & 4th in each Conference.
Division Two will be 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th in each Conference + the 10th placed team with the best record.
All remaining teams into Division Three.

Has it been decided whether 14th will be saved from relegation or if another conference team will be promoted, if a Premier Division team moves up to the LL?

If a Premier team is promoted and no team comes down from the Lowland League, then only 6 teams will be relegated. The leagues below would be adjusted appropriately as well.

Apart from BSC Glasgow I really don’t know a whole lot about any of these clubs. Who are the biggest and smallest clubs in the division and will any have aspirations of making the Premier Division?

Funny you should ask as BSC Glasgow are basically the Youth branch of the LL team that once had the same name. Basically, there was a falling out between the Youth/community club side and LL side - hence BSC Glasgow playing in Tier 8* and the OG BSC becoming Broomhill.

Harthill Royal were once a Junior side in the East but straddled the East/West boundary and decided to opt for the West of Scotland for some reason.

Campbeltown Pupils were a pretty famous Amatuer side for playing in well Campbeltown- and were once featured on the TV, whilst the others are all ambitious Glasgow area Youth/Amatuer sides that want to try their hand at the pyramid.

Spoiler

This division is effectively a holding pen before the WoS proper for teams that want to get their facilities up to scratch and act as a stepping stone between Amatuer and Semi-Pro football. AFAIA none of the clubs are guaranteed to be allowed into the "Third Division" (tier 9) when its formed, but it certainly a way to make that possible and ensure that these clubs are able to fulfil their fixtures.

Do you know how many of those clubs have managed to improve their grounds within this season?

This is what i've been wondering. Harthill Royal and maybe Campbeltown are considered solid ground wise. Harmony Row and St Peter's are groundsharing at WoSFL grounds with plastic pitches which I think is allowed? Then I don't know enough about the rest.
