Rainbow monkey with fake penis attends children’s reading event

Recommended Posts

Redbridge Council has apologised for holding an event to encourage children to read during which an actor dressed in a bare-bottomed monkey costume with a fake penis.

Members of the Mandiga Arts Group performed at Redbridge Libraries Summer Reading Challenge event at Goodmayes Library at the weekend.  Here is a photo of the monkey in question

Local Conservative councillors have vociferously complained about the event and the local council have said that they won’t be using the Mandinga Arts Group again. The Arts Group Have issued a statement saying they are sorry for any offence caused.

Have any P&Bers ever dressed up as a rainbow dildo monkey to encourage children to read?

Have any P&Bers ever been taught to read by a rainbow dildo monkey?

This photo is one of my favourite things about the story.

The Bosch style nightmare visions of a Daily Mail reader brought to life. If Chris Morris out this in The Day Today it’d be Rejected for being too far fetched but it’s real.

I like how the thread title seems to suggest that the monkey attended the event rather than "worked" at it per se. I'm envisaging that the reading events are Monday nights & rainbow dildo monkey night is Tuesdays, and the whole thing was just a hilarious misunderstanding.

In a not too dissimilar vein (pardon the expression).

Why was she looking his eyes (not that one) are further up.

A few years ago Manchester police were looking for a cyclist who was cycling along in a state of arousal and they quickly backed down.
