Bairnardo
4 hours ago, Bairnardo said: Donnarumma has a look. Theres players you can look at and go hes got a fucking, for the ages, hero performance in him. He is one. Chiellini* and Bonucci are too, and Chiesa has already had some. *Probably the finest example of this intangible quality. Also, it just occurred to me that Marco Verratti is quite good at creating seethe, and would like to see him rile Kalvin Phillips up. Quoting again, in case Donnarumma reads P&B.... KirkieRR
Thank goodness. Get lost England and yer media cheerleaders, but poor shoot-out at the end of a tournament with no outstanding teams. Let's forget England now and try to get Scotland half-decent.

Mr. Brightside
I've seen "this Engalnd team are likeable" batted around a lot, who exactly? Rashford, Saka and Sancho, most of the others are wanks.

Ric
Just now, BFTD said: Wouldn't have thought it at the start of the tournament, but I'm actually feeling sorry for England's players. Massive relief however, and the press boys can GIRFUT. I think, as an ardent nationalist, the default anti-English rhetoric can sometimes be more of a burden than a benefit, but I have absolutely no sympathy for England. They had every single advantage and still couldn't get across the finish line. I find that hilarious, even though I shouldn't.

Rugster
1 minute ago, Ric said: I've not watched (or listened) to a single second of this game, but I have had the BBC twitter feed open on a tab and the rollercoaster of emotions is hilarious. 2 minutes in and Shaw (and England) apparently live in an alternate dimension where football is like the matrix and every English player is Neo. Tweets pop in about how the English are deserved winners and that Kane should be considered the best player in the world, Southgate is a genius and England are getting the rewards so richly deserved of them because... well for no reason other than they are England. Oh, and the referee is clearly on the take. Fast forward to the Italian goal and suddenly those golden warriors are part time pub workers who can't compete with the might of the Italians, Southgate is an idiot and the whole game would have been won by half time if only he had played Grealish. Every Italian tackle is akin to murder, every time England are punished for a foul they are cruelly chastised by the anti-English bias that so clearly gave them almost perpetual home games with hugely partisan crowds. The penalties? Heh.. oh, the penalties were excellent. The Italians are absolute cheats who through sheer fluke scored from 13 yards. The English however are gladiatorial, leading the way until Rashford missed. Sure, he might think that it's shit that schoolkids starve, but he's still a fucking c**t for not scoring his penalty. Sancho, apparently the worlds greatest footballer, according to the English press, is also a complete haddie. While Sako, who social media was apoplectic about, is now suddenly a fucking nobody. Now, after full time, there is no end of recriminations and accusations, the Twittersphere (sorry for that) is eating itself (or at least the English element of it is) and it just demonstrates that England are the worst losers. Magnanimous in defeat, gracious in victory is the classic claim, it seems English fans have never heard of this proverb or if they have they've chosen to ignore it. Maybe a German child could post a list of obscenities above a picture of grown English fans crying. It would seem somewhat fitting, imo. Am I f**k reading all that.
