Clockwork
Cliftonville v Linfield live tonightYep, looking forward to it along with the rest of the card tonight. All eyes on Solitude I guess, but will be keeping tabs on developments at the Loughshore. Will be interesting to see if the two new loan signings from Accie Stanley go into the Carrick side Vs Ballymena. LB- Matty Carson & CM - Tom Scully. Long overdue a win, but Big DJ seems to have turned the fortunes of the Sky Blues in recent weeks. Mon The Ambers.
Clockwork
Just one game in the Championship last night whilst the Premiership enjoyed a full card. 4th place Loughgall travelled to 3rd place Annagh United and moved to within just two points of them with a tidy 3-1 win at the BMG. Mark Patton put the visitors in front from the penalty spot before Tiernan Kelly double their lead shortly before the break. United briefly hit back on 55 through Peter Duffin but lost any chance of a full recovery with Adam Henderson's dismissal with 10 minutes left pressing for the equalliser. Nathaniel Ferris wrapped things up for The Villagers with a third deep into time added on. Next up; Leaders Newry City take on Dundela at the Showgrounds on Friday evening. Jacksgranda
2-2 at Solitude in a good game, but with Glentoran scoring a last minute winner against Coleraine at the Oval, things are even tighter at the top. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60132629 One point in it - Linfield P 24 Pts 53, Glentoran P 24 Pts 52, Cliftonville P 24 Pts 48 Carrick, getting a long overdue win, did Coleraine a favour, beating Ballymena 3-0, which keeps Coleraine in the top half and Ballymena in the bottom half. Highlights - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/60132631 At the bottom a last minute winner for Crusaders at Shamrock Park leaves Portadown 9 points behind the Swifts who stumbled at Glenavon, while Larne breezed past bottom of the table Warrenpoint Town, 3-0 at Milltown Ballymena v Cliftonville live on Friday night.

Cracking second half at Solitude last night, thought the Blues were just about to wobble a bit (felt they were a litte sloppy and lacklustre on Saturday, watching them against Glenavon at the weekend), but came back with a bit of bite against a side who always looked dangerous on the break. Top stuff. Fine win for Carrick, a most welcome result. Seem to have the Indian sign over The Sky Blues this season; telling that the last 3 league wins for Rangers have all come against their Antrim neighbours!
Clockwork
Dundela disqualified from Irish Cup after fielding and ineligible player against Ards in the previous round and who will take their place in the 2nd round tie at Newry City next Saturday.

Jacksgranda
Half time: Ballymena 0 Cliftonville 1. Ballymena maybe deserve to be level, but the Reds missed an absolute sitter to make it 2-0. The weather maybe spoiling things a bit. Plenty of effort the skill factor not as high as hoped but an interesting game, all the same.

As you say @Jacksgranda the weather is a real leveller here! The Ballymena Showgrounds perhaps wouldn’t be a favourite venue to go to every other week during the Winter months eh!!?

Cliftonville must be kicking themselves, they had the 3 points wrapped up, McDonagh scored another lovely goal, running from the halfway line to the edge of the box to crash home what looked like the clincher. But fair play to Ballymena, they kept plugging away and grabbed an unlikely point!

Yep the Showgrounds are very open to the elements at either end, little protection when there’s a cold wind swirling. Decent in the main stand though, nice wee bar for a Dram at the interval![emoji6]

Jacksgranda
Ballymena v Cliftonville report - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60174365 Today Linfield travel to the Coleraine Showgrounds. Can't see past a Blues win, tbh, Coleraine have gone right off the boil. Hope I'm wrong, mind you! Glentoran entertain Warrenpoint Town. Must be a home win here, although the Glens have dropped some silly points this season. The Swifts are at home to Carrick in another 6 pointer. Anything could happen here. And in the late kick off Larne host Portadown, who are badly in need of points. Home win, but again the Ports could cause a surprise. Crusaders v Glenavon is the other match. Home win Thus ends Mystic Granda's predictions

Hopeful on the back of a convincing win over Ballymena on Wed and travelling to Stangmore pretty much at full strength. Debuts for Tom Scully and Matty Carson?
