There’s a clear divide in quality in the HL this year, with the top 7 we’ll away from the rest. Any specific reason for that? Have the other clubs got more money or just run well?

Money mainly. Clubs like Clach rely on training up their own youth players then the likes of Brora and Rothes at the moment hoover up the best ones by offering a decent wedge or a good job outside football.

It's true. Well, the intention is. Whether they'll do it, who knows.

Where did you get the full time thing from? Come to think of it they were pretty well full time when they were doubling as Caley Colts.

They were letting the boardroom drams do some talking while at the Broch on Saturday, according to various sources.

Nothing like drowning your sorrows when your team finish with 9 men and the goals just keep piling in.

Hats off to them for coming up with the full time stuff though. That's a proper drunken GIRUY if ever I've seen one.

Not much point bringing in the new manager if they don't have something like that up their sleeve. A Scottish version of the Ron Atkinson at Peterborough United documentary series but with Ben Nevis as the backdrop might be one way to do it if they can find some mug to fund it.

It hasn't stopped Golspie.  I know the ground requirement is only part of what you need to obtain one, but how are the clubs who play on said public parks and in high schools ever going to play in the HL?  They can't ground share with Clach/Brora/Wick forever.

Any particular reason why not?

The state Loco's pitch got into when Cove were homeless and borrowing it for one. It would probably only work with a plastic pitch, up here especially.

Don't Loch Ness play on Bught Park?

Nope. The new rugby ground last season and alternating between Fortrose and the Royal Academy this year. I think their amateur side used Bught Park in the summer.
