Payments will be awarded based on what round you exit, not how many rounds you have progressed through.

You can no longer "accumulate" payments as you progress through rounds, which meant teams entering earlier could earn more than those receiving byes.

I believe there's only 1 Preliminary round, which will earn £2,200 if you exit at that stage, Round 1 exit will earn £5,000, Round 2 will earn £6,500.   In previous seasons if you had exited at Round 2 after entering in the Prelim round, you would have pocketed £2,200+£5,000+£6,500.  Now you get £6,500.

Any idea what's the Prize money for being knocked out at each Round from Round 3 and onwards? How much to the Finalists?

I did this last round so here's a look at how the teams shape up in terms of the rankings: http://scotscores.theroonba.com/clubrank/clubrank.html

These were fairly accurate last time, with only one real upset. Games listed here as draws are basically "close" and could go slightly one way when you factor in more points for home advantage. Will be fascinating to see how the inter-division clashes go.

Partick Thistle v Dunfermline Athletic 3324 3172 152 Home
Kelty Hearts v Montrose 3133 3148 -15 Draw

Auchinleck Talbot v Hamilton Academical 3156 3116 40 Draw

Real hodge podge of postponements and replays dates...

https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/news/third-round-fixture-information-2021-22/?rid=2107

These ties try again next Saturday in either case:

These on Tuesday 7th December:

Partick v Dunfermline, Alloa v Bonnyrigg 🤔, Falkirk v Raith, Inverness v Morton, Queen's Park v Kilmarnock, Stenhousemuir v Airdrie

These postponements on Tuesday 30th but replay next Saturday:

Dumbarton v Sauchie, LTHV v Edinburgh City, Stirling Albion v Tranent

These postponements next Saturday but replays on Tuesday 7th:

Auchinleck v Hamilton, Civil Service v Peterhead 😮, Cove Rangers v Queen of the South

Then finally:

Arbroath v Forfar          postponement Wednesday 1st December, replay Tuesday 7th December
Ayr v Albion Rovers     postponement Saturday 4th December, replay Wednesday 1st December
(i.e. replay is earlier than first tie would be if postponed 🤨)
Clydebank v Clyde        postponement Saturday 4th December, replay Tuesday 30th November         (ditto)

That's really interesting, thanks for sharing. Given what you said about one shock in the last round, which implies it is really accurate, I feel a bit disappointed before even going now, as I was secretly optimistic about Albion's chances. However, I don't think enough weight is given to a team's current form:

Ayr's recent record really is poor. So whilst I agree they definitely are favourites (full-time vs part-time), their morale must be rock bottom and if the Rovers play to their full potential I think there could well be a shock on the cards.

The one shock was Dalbeattie taking Rothes to a replay and then going away and beating them, it was a 266 point gap in the rankings. If you want hope for this Saturday - your win in the last round was as the slightly lower ranked team (-60 points), so channel that Edinburgh City performance and you might be the big shock this time round!

Once again the rankings seem pretty accurate - ICT not winning at home the only real shock along with some close ranking gaps at Auchinleck, Stirling, Clydebank, Alloa and BOD that went the way of the home side. :)

Would like to see the difference between Lthv home and Edinburgh city home figures. City got away with that today

The ranking points of each club was posted further up the page (2569 v 2923), though not sure what you mean by "home" figures? You can see all their results at http://scotscores.theroonba.com/clubrank/lothian thistle hutchison vale.html and http://scotscores.theroonba.com/clubrank/edinburgh city.html if that's any help.

Credit to Auchineck who become the first-ever tier 6 club to defeat an opponent from tier 2. That also makes it the biggest gulf ever (as nobody from tier 7 has ever beaten somebody from tier 3).

Record non-leaguers in R4 also (being 5).

R4:

Scottish Premiership (12): Aberdeen, Celtic, Dundee, Dundee Utd, Hearts, Hibs, Livingston, Motherwell, Rangers, Ross County, St Johnstone, St Mirren

Scottish Championship (6): Arbroayth, Ayr, Morton/Inverness, Kilmarnock, Partick, Raith

SPFL1 (4): Airdrie, Alloa, Dumbarton, Peterhead

SPFL2 (3): Annan, Edinburgh City, Stirling Albion

Lowland League (1): East Kilbride

West of Scotland League (2): Auchinleck, Clydebank

North Juniors (1): Banks o'Dee

tbc (3): Brechin/Darvel, Montrose/Kelty, Queen of the South/Cove
