Find someone who looks at you the way @TheScarf looks at Banks o Dee.

I actually pity their players more than anything. Held back in the juniors for so long by a board with a hard on to win the league for 80 years in a row instead of joining the HL. I'm happy they now get that opportunity naturally.

Hawick were bottom of the league as well so I did not get    them being favourites to beat Golspie.  A depleted Banks O’Dee beating Linlithgow Rose away I thought was some result.

It’s not really a great result Linlithgow have been very poor this season!

Are the BBC likely to be showing matches from R1 onwards?

Did they show earlier rounds last season? I remember seeing Dundonald Bluebell v Queens Park and Bonnyrigg v Buckie but can’t remember what year or round they were.

yes mate they showed matches from the 1st round on BBC Scotland iirc.

from what the poster above says they're showing them again.

Last season for whatever reason SFA temporarily renumbered all the rounds: so BBC didn't show any game in PR2 (which was really R1), then got their intended 1 game in R1 (which was really R2), then got 2 games instead of 1 in R2 (which was really R3).

I suppose it's possible they might stick with 0-1-2 again instead of 1-1-1.

BBC Scotland digital channel listings for Friday 18th September aren't up yet. However there isn't a Friday game in Championship unlike following week.

Haven't heard anything. The fact they're not doing the draw on Sportscene makes me think not.

There were no draws on Sportscene last season yet BBC Scotland broadcast games.

Because the previous season was still being played?

TV tie should really be Penicuik v Tranent or Irvine Meadow v Auchinleck... but I suspect we'll likely be watching Brechin v Vale of Leithen.

Wee shout for Clydebank given the "journey" etc?

I agree re the first two ties you mention but I think that they may look at cross league ties like Forres v Bonnyrigg, Tynecastle v Brora, Formartine v Cumnock or the "All Star" clash.

I'd have thought Berwexit/Gretna would be the telly shout, two former bigger league clubs with cup 'histories' (if you're playing loose with Gretna's liquidation, natch). If not, then Meadow/Talbot probably the sauciest tie. Brechin running up a cricket score against Vale doesn't sound much of a spectacle TBH.
