Considering the amount of players they had missing through suspension, holiday and injury (I don’t profess to know the stats for the opposing team), that is a great result for Dunbar, today.

They really are riding the crest of a wave.

Not taking anything away from the previous management team, but considering the scrutiny on the new staff, they have exceeded expectations.

Long may it continue.

C’mon the Seasiders

Who was suspended for this game.?

Was Mikey McFarlane not suspended? I may be wrong.

Yes, he was.  The Swifts game was their first league match since the WW game.

Tough test for United in the coming days, Crossgates, Penicuik and then the mighty Belters....  a really testing period for them.

Tuesday 28th September 2021
Hill of Beath Hawthorn 1-4 Camelon

Mariners voyaged to Fife, and overwhelmed their struggling host to such an extent their management had walked the plank by time the tide came in. Visitors float out of choppy waters.

Crossgates 3-2 Dunbar

Dunbar got the opener after a very good cross left a easy header at the back post,  they then lost their keeper not long after through injury and with no sub keeper played the majority of the game with an outfielder in goals(things you love to see etc),  he was well protected by the defense and had no chance with the equalizer not long before half time,  when archie campbell scoring from the edge of the box(assisted by the ref missing a trip on the defender who was going to close him down)

2nd half dunbar got ahead again, being first to a dropped cross

Crossgates equalized again with a volley going between the stand in keepers legs.

Pretty even game with the hosts winning through a late penalty, quite a silly one to give away, blatant climbing from a crossed free kick(which was possibly a little softly given).

Thanks for the summary, wasn't at the game but losing your keeper so early with no sub keeper is a bit of a bummer

 These things happen.

A nice goal from Mitch Taylor for the 2nd. Horrific decision by the ref for the penalty and red card. But our defending after that has to be better.

Whitehill "Belted" 3-0.

No, I wasn't there. The younger Tam might have gone but the older Tam is a fair weather shitebag!

Weather was fine and pitch in great shape despite the deluge today. A comfortable win in the end for Tranent with 2 late goals, but a spirited performance by WW, inspired by an excellent goalkeeping performance.

If WW can keep that spirit, they can survive this league.

Bizarrely, 3 red cards, including one for Tranent's manager Callum Elliot, in a game that was played in a decent spirit.

I see what you did there.

A Sean Wringe header wi last touch 1st half sent Tranent in 1 up and was a kick in the stones to the WW 1st half performance followed by 2 late goals sealed the points.

WW had couple 1 on 1s wi Tranent keeper had we taken one o them mightve been different story.WW keeper outstanding again.

2 sent off and a Tranent coach sent off I dont think anyone knows why.

Tranent just about worthy winners though maybe not as scoreline suggests.

Couldn't make the game at Foresters tonight. Good on them for getting the game on and a good result, continuing the solid home record. Heard murmurs here and there about the standard of the refereeing last night, still not heard anybody clear up Sean Murphy's red card at the end. Dunbar away is a tough trip, particularly with how they've been doing recently. Big knock for us him missing it.
