Not a deep frost but the trees don't allow the sun to get to the area. Fingers crossed but it doesn't look good

HibeeJibee
Saturday 11th December 2021 Camelon 2-2 Dunbar United Crossgates Primrose P-P Musselburgh Athletic Hill of Beath Hawthorn 1-0 Broxburn Athletic Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts 1-0 Lothian Thistle HV Jeanfield Swifts P-P Penicuik Athletic Linlithgow Rose 5-1 Dundonald Bluebell Newtongrange Star 1-2 Tynecastle Sauchie P-P Tranent Whitehill Welfare 4-1 Blackburn United Linlithgow took advantage of Penicuik and Tranent's games being off to close within 5pts of the leaders and 1pt of 2nd as a fantastic winning run continues... indeed they can go 2nd next week, if they avoid defeat at Musselburgh, as Tranent don't have a game (it was played earlier in season when they and Newtongrange got byes in Scottish Cup prelim). Hill of Beath landed a stunning win; Whitehill a vital win; and Camelon a prized point; down other end. None of the bottom 4 are more than 4pts from safety now. Next weekend is the last before the brief Christmas break kicks-in: Saturday 18th December 2021 Blackburn United v Jeanfield Swifts Broxburn Athletic v Tynecastle Camelon v Crossgates Primrose Dunbar United v Sauchie Lothian Thistle HV v Dundonald Bluebell (2pm) Musselburgh Athletic v Linlithgow Rose Penicuik Athletic v Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts Whitehill Welfare v Hill of Beath Hawthorn Edited December 11, 2021 by HibeeJibee

norwichbobby
If the virus doesn’t get the Penicuik game the frost might. Hard frost overnight and still only 1 degree. Sunny though so hope that helps…

The league season could get finished because we would surely at worst be back by march

HibeeJibee
Saturday 18th December 2021 Blackburn United 1-3 Jeanfield Swifts Broxburn Athletic V-V Tynecastle Camelon V-V Crossgates Primrose Dunbar United 2-1 Sauchie Lothian Thistle HV 1-0 Dundonald Bluebell Musselburgh Athletic 0-6 Linlithgow Rose Penicuik Athletic 2-2 Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts Whitehill Welfare V-V Hill of Beath Hawthorn Penicuik held. Linlithgow emphatically go 2nd. LTHV and Dunbar secure important wins. Due to the Christmas break there are no more games until 3 weeks time; except for the New Year derbies which have ended up here, there and everywhere. So with 61% of games completed a good opportunity to reflect on the standings. Penicuik remain top but Linlithgow on an incredible run are only 3pts behind, with Tranent another 2pts back. Title looks between this triumvirate. Bottom end sees 5 struggling pegs trying to fit 1 round hole, but handful above could yet be dragged-in.
