At the game I’d have said 700-800 but 1200 is great. I’m not familiar with how many can fit in the enclosure.

Someone mentioned the same size of crowd as you ( 800+) and Tranent only has 3 sides of park where fans can stand.

However, when you get a large crowd, it can be very hard to confidently estimate the crowd. Think the guy with the 1200 figure walked round the park, where figure should be easier to count. Not sure that will be beaten this season, except perhaps when we are at play-offs stage.

1200 is very healthy and likely the best crowd for an EOSL fixture for decades.

I remember there was 500 at a Spartans v Whitehill league decider 15 years ago but you might have to go back to the 60s/early 70s for an EOSL crowd like that at a non Scottish Cup game.

The enclosure was very busy and people were all around the pitch, my estimation was just about 4 figures, so I wasn't that far off. Enjoyable day out!

Optimistic punt

Show a bit of respect. I spoke to Conor after the game yesterday and he said he had noticed the keeper off his line 1st half and that he'd try in the 2nd half if the opportunity rose. It did and the vision, application & technique was much more than a punt!

He certainly is a haver, sorry wafer, or both! To even attempt to shoot from there shows initiative and how many players would hit the ball so high and inside the top right of the goals. Quality strike/effort.

There was a hefty 1K + crowd at the end of season Kelty vs LTHV game three seasons back. Outside of that I'd imagine it'll be hard to beat recently.

*edit - just saw HibeeJibee's post 😆

Saturday 20th November 2021
Camelon v Musselburgh Athletic (2pm)
Crossgates Primrose v Whitehill Welfare (2pm)
Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts v Dunbar United (2pm)
Lothian Thistle HV v Hill of Beath Hawthorn (3pm)

Quartet of action includes the big relegation 6-pointer in Pilton... Inverkeithing and Dunbar are also flirting with that end of the table, while Camelon and Whitehill desperately need points.

Why is camelon a 2pm kick off 🤔
