Omnishambles
Largely scrappy game at Foresters that felt like it never really settled. Take a point is Penicuik were probably the better side over the full 90 minutes. Some crowd too. What a league!

I’m not familiar with how many can fit in the enclosure. Someone mentioned the same size of crowd as you ( 800+) and Tranent only has 3 sides of park where fans can stand. However, when you get a large crowd, it can be very hard to confidently estimate the crowd. Think the guy with the 1200 figure walked round the park, where figure should be easier to count. Not sure that will be beaten this season, except perhaps when we are at play-offs stage.
tamthebam
1200 is very healthy and likely the best crowd for an EOSL fixture for decades. I remember there was 500 at a Spartans v Whitehill league decider 15 years ago but you might have to go back to the 60s/early 70s for an EOSL crowd like that at a non Scottish Cup game. -

I spoke to Conor after the game yesterday and he said he had noticed the keeper off his line 1st half and that he'd try in the 2nd half if the opportunity rose. It did and the vision, application & technique was much more than a punt!

To even attempt to shoot from there shows initiative and how many players would hit the ball so high and inside the top right of the goals. Quality strike/effort.

There was a hefty 1K + crowd at the end of season Kelty vs LTHV game three seasons back. Outside of that I'd imagine it'll be hard to beat recently. *edit - just saw HibeeJibee's post Edited November 16, 2021 by leomessi1984

Marooneye
More fun at the bottom as a little gap starts to open. Hob look to be in real trouble and Camelon continue to leak goals.
