Glenrothes had to score at the death to come from behind v Edinburgh South while Preston made hard work of Stirling Uni EOS. Preston took full advantage to close within 3pts - and they've still got 2 games-in-hand - while Kinnoull go 3rd. Newburgh drop bottom. Today saw the campaign pass 50% mark, which means we should see final placings and a champion whatever befalls the remainder of the campaign in public health terms. Realistically it looks a 4-horse race unless Heriot-Watt Uni or Oakley can reignite the burners. Luncarty secured a welcome win, which makes it increasingly difficult for those pursuing 7th to achieve that vital position. Newburgh won impressively against Heriot-Watt Uni to vacate bottom.
