Ginaro
Shippy gone off the rails a bit, only 1 point in their last 5 league games. They don't play any of the top 6 for a month though so a chance to get back into the top half.

In cup games,Bo'ness Athletic looked like they would score with every attack and we were soundly beaten over there. Went along to watch Heriot watt vs Easthouses, they are the best team i have seen in a long time. One of the parents was saying they jsut cant keep a settled 11 with people going home. Not sure what they do at Riccarton, but they dont have play some football on the deck

I don’t think they’ve had a good start at all Must have no squad always hear that they never had a full team

HibeeJibee
Friday 8th October 2021 Burntisland Shipyard v Lochore Welfare Saturday 9th October 2021 Hawick RAU v Preston Athletic Heriot-Watt University v Edinburgh South (3pm) Lochgelly Albert v Glenrothes Luncarty v Newburgh Oakley United v Kinnoull Friday night football makes a welcome return with Fife derby action in shape of Burntisland v Lochore. Lochgelly v Glenrothes follows on Saturday. Taking stock of the overall position in Conference B after 3 months an extraordinary situation sees the entire top half separated by only 5pts. Glenrothes and Preston have only lost 1 game but the former have drawn more than the latter. Behind this 'top 7' stands 7pt gap to guaranteed safety... but at this stage only Newburgh and Hawick will be reconciling themself to a likely Second Division status next season, being so far adrift.
patriot1
Burntisland 1 Lochore 1 HT A healthy looking Friday night crowd saw a cracking header from the Lochore number 5 open the scoring. Unfortunately it was into his own net. Lochore equalised shortly after and dominated the next twenty minutes. But the Ship should be ahead as Ben Anthony missed a sitter late on. Hiiefully more of the same in the second half.
patriot1
FT Burntisland 2 Lochore 3. Fairly dominant second half won it for Lochore.
Andy groundhopper
Agree, had the gift of the own goal but Shippy rarely threatened until late on. The two quick goals did the job, especially that cracker from way out. Lochore looked good going forward, always likely to score again, while the hosts didn't look a cohesive unit - chasing long balls too often. Decent game, must have been 150+ in the ground.
patriot1
You must have read my mind Andy, I didn’t do a head count but I reckoned at least 150 as well.

HibeeJibee
Friday 8th October 2021 Burntisland Shipyard 2-3 Lochore Welfare Saturday 9th October 2021 Hawick RAU 0-4 Preston Athletic Heriot-Watt University 1-1 Edinburgh South Lochgelly Albert 1-7 (seven) Glenrothes Luncarty ?-? Newburgh Oakley United 1-0 Kinnoull Commanding wins for Glenrothes and Preston maintain their hold upon the top places but it's Oakley who jump into 3rd after winning an important clash with Kinnoull, while Heriot-Watt Uni lost sloppy points home to Edinburgh South. Lochore did the business last night under the lights at Burntisland. Luncarty v Newburgh appears to have been postponed: but with the official channels unaware and precious little on either club's social media not clear if this was over weather, health or other reasons.
