jagfox
Not surprised to see incestuous cosying up between fans of the two Ayrshire clubs... Great to see Sir Ian McCall has some of the duller minded Ayr fans still utterly rattled. Delicious!

The Ghost of B A R P
I’d guess* Wright is the only one breaking £100k and Campbell might be on £40k (with nice wee bonuses built in). Arrange the rest in between (adjusting for the possibility that Ayr are paying Hopkin a touch more than they needed to). [* guess]
smc4761
To try and get this back on track, probably average wage for manager in this division, will be around £50 k per year
craigkillie
We really don't to the 2nd part, we honestly do to the 1st part. I am honestly looking forward to this season with a sense of humility & expectation in equal doses. I have zero appetite for indulging in Falkirkesque Crowdwanking, like most of the o0's and early noughties SPL teams we overinvested & were punished for it, some individuals lost heavily as a result & some clubs suffered. We were no worse, yet, no better than the rest who were chasing rainbows at the time. TL;DR no idea who this Rugbypark clown is but he does not speak for us all.I was sort of hoping that the new posters that all popped up here around the time Clarke was in charge would have fucked off again once we got relegated, but sadly not.

The highest paid is a fair bit more than that, with the lowest being lower than some league 1 managers... some crazy money going about the now Edited July 15, 2021 by ewan_fife
mugen_power
I seem to remember reading or hearing somewhere that before Ayr hired McCall, the salary for the Manager was somewhere in the 40,000 region and McCall did get a company car too

RedLichty
I believe the budget for the coaching staff at Arbroath (all of them) is about £1000 a week that is going to be very different to Killie or Hearts last season….
