Have to think that these guys all playing together every week in the Lowland League has made a big difference. That'll be five players who played yesterday, plus three on the bench, who all played in the 4-0 defeat to the University of Stirling just last month. Given the lowland league was over it was irrelevant If they made 5 appearances for the 1st team they could could no longer play for the B team and would be considered a 1st team player until the Winter transfer window. At which point it reset and could play for the B team again until making another 5 1st team appearances. Don't think anyone came close for it to be an issue. Seeking the blessing of the SFA has been an almost annual event for the LL Board since Selkirk since they find something to mess around with in their rulebook. Currently on Version 19 since 2013. So it's good for both branches of Old Firm plc, but there are no real benefits to actual LL teams or Scottish football in general?
