Highland Capital
In 2020 Rhode Island voted in a referendum to change the name of Rhode Island to Rhode Island and due to the yes vote, Rhode Island changed it's name to Rhode Island. They'd previously had a referendum in 2011 about changing the name of Rhode Island to Rhode Island but in that referendum Rhode Island voted No so Rhode Island voted not to change it's name to Rhode Island. Most of Rhode Island is not an island. It has islands, but none are named Rhode Island.

Karpaty Lviv
The only person to have ever escaped Klong Prem Central Prison (the Bangkok Hilton) is England born Aussie, David McMillan. Some of his tales on Shaun Atwood’s podcast are mental. The odds of flopping a Royal Flush in Texas Hold’Em is 19,600/1, roughly the same as me predicting the result of a football match.

Fullerene
Julies Caesar introduced the concept of leap years. He decreed that 46 BC would have 15 months and after that every 4 years, February would have an extra day, located between the 24th and the 25th. 45 BC was the first year to have a leap year. Must have pissed somebody off - Caesar was assassinated the following year.
