jagfox Posted November 8, 2021 Share Posted November 8, 2021 Quite a few candidates starting with Chic Charnley. Gerry Britton had a couple of rewarding spells with the club. Jim Duffy, Gordon Rae, Alan Archibald, Scott Paterson and latterly Liam Lindsay. Chic was the stand out midfielder for me. Probably too slow and hotheaded to be an elite player but skill wise is the best I've seen in Red and Yellow. Had some decent strikers over that spell. The aforementioned Gerry Britton and his partner Geordie Shaw. Mark Roberts was a bright star in a dull period. My pick was ably supported by Stevie Lawless and the enigmatic Kris Erskine.
