Founded in 1896-97, entry reaches an all-time record 68 clubs, although in consequence barely anyone will actually be involved in R1.

The title of the thread did have me wondering if there had been a name change. As it's changed days to think they'll be qualifying to play against Edinburgh City and Kelty Hearts.

So is the EOS qualifying cup - for EOSFA members outside the SPFL, but also minus East Kilbride?

Are East Kilbride still members of the EOSFA now that there is peace in our time and they're the wrong side of the salt and sauce line?

Still listed on the EOS website though maybe they stepped down tonight. I'm sure HJ will explain all.

Though as the LL inevitably skews more west this cup won't be much different to the EOS league cup.

Well for this cup 9 / 16 LL clubs are EOSFA members, and that numbers is only likely to decline in future years with west/SPFL clubs joining the LL and east clubs going down to the EOS.

Is Pollok going to be there. Thats my favourite when they get brought up.

West Calder United v Berwick Rangers in a competitive game.

Not many years ago the very idea of such a match-up would've been confined to fantasists, madmen and drunkards.

With the King Cup dropped to lower division status, the difference in the Qualifying & League Cups are now roughly 1st and 2nd half of the season events now. League Cup having the season finale to it and Qualifying Cup the quirk of later participating in the City Cup.

LTHV v Hill of Beath
Whitehill v Broxburn

Jeanfield v Vale of Leithen
Tynecastle v Bonnyrigg
Inverkeithing v Edinburgh Uni
Gretna v Bo'ness
Sauchie v Crossgates
St Andrews v Stirling Uni
Newtongrange v Civil Service
Spartans v Linlithgow

Ties-of-the-rounds IMO, particularly LTHV-HofB... Tynecastle-Bonnyrigg... Newtongrange-Civil... and especially Spartans-Linlithgow.

Are there any more cups to be drawn and when are fixtures out ??

Alex Jack Cup for the non-SFA members. Getting drawn after the SFA AGM when they confirm new members.

And the League Cup. I imagine they might be holding off on that for now. Not wanting to take COVID for granted.

Given the groundshares it'll be after the LL fixtures comes out, which will be about a week after the SPFL fixtures come out on the 15th.
