Central belt boundaries

Some absolute weirdo opinions here

The Central Belt is Glasgow and Edinburgh metropolis's and everything in between. No Ayrshire, no Fife, no coastal areas like Greenock or Dumbarton.

Ignore the line from Falkirk to Edinburgh, obviously the boundary is the Forth.

I would hear arguments that Stirling is in the Central Belt due to being south of the Forth and on a direct train from Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The central belt is only the m8 and anything half a mile to either side of it

Correct.

Close enough.

These things aren't subjective. They're fact.

Also - isn't Ayr that place with a Butlins?

All these North and South teuchters are essentially hipsters  who think they are better than their Central belt overlords because they dress weird and smell odd

Hipsters=people who don't drink buckfast

Former coalfields from Stirling to Leven should all be in along with the Vale of Leven. Bit dubious on how Ayrshire and Lanarkshire are being handled. Coalburn, Lesmahagow, New Cumnock and Dalmellington are more central belt than Wemyss Bay, Cumbrae  or Turnberry.

Central: it covers the central part of Scotland.

The rectangular section denotes the whole of Scotland. Note that Ayr is very close to the middle of it. (The most central town in Scotland is Auchinleck.)Untitled.thumb.png.47901f0d058ef059b126e634f1beaa96.pngnear the centre of it.

Thought I'd do one that accommodates Kincardine's plan for local opt outs upon independence

Larkhall is leaving? The denizens won't be happy with that.
