Some smart loan signings will help too I'm sure. Perhaps some of our younger lads who are already pushing to get a game.

How has Martin been? Absolutely loved him for us, his injury problems were an absolute shiter. Could play anywhere in the back 4, quick,  strong good in the air and great with the ball at his feet.

Martin has been a good steady player for us and like you say can play anywhere along the back line , if we can keep Martin , Peggie, Oware Thomson and any chance of young Milne back on loan who has been brilliant for us then that's a pretty decent first choice defence but will just have to wait and see what the new season and new manager brings , Tidser looks like he has his head screwed on always calm and knows the game inside out and will have a good few contacts in the game , actually pretty excited for our next chapter and where it takes us

Steady but unspectacular. A solid signing overall.

Only Shearer has looked anywhere near good enough to play from the youngsters coming through so don't think that will be an immediate pipeline. Loan signings for sure will be key.

Likely we'll float around league 2 I imagine. Maybe Tids will surprise us & become the next Pep 😆

Lol.  Didn’t mean to be disrespectful to you lads but let’s face it, this is what will happen to a number of clubs at this level and lower.

Dude with money takes on club, spends it, builds it, gets bored, pulls out, club drops back to where it came from eventually.

I’m a firm believer that clubs naturally end up where their traditional support base takes them.  Keltys level on that measure is probably just outside the leagues.  You won’t be the first nor certainly the last.  It’s how smart your remaining and incoming support staff can work to maintain league status. Like Stella says, couple of good loan signings on top of a decent core of a team and you never know.

Your spot on with the theme but where we started is a long way off after the investment in the facilities & infrastructure. Crowds at 600 to 700 average will be well on par with most L2 & some L1 teams. The community club wasn't even there when we started this journey.

And you’re spot-on there. Kelty seem equipped to hold a League position for the foreseeable future, if you can keep the decent crowds. Good luck, we’ll see how this train goes for us now…

If there is a football god, your tinpot little club will disappear down the leagues asap.

You certainly won't be missed.

Here he is. After being resoundly hammered on his own teams thread by his own peers. Get it right up you - we are here whether you like it or not.

Not for long hopefully. It would be sensational to see your scummy little club go down the tubes.

It's the fact that these village idiots are coming into Rovers that's the problem. Absolutely horrendous decision to put a junior club committee in charge of a full time football team. The three of them can GTF.

Christ, what an idiot.

If your wee club wasn't desperate after shooting itself in the foot with sponsors and fans then maybe you wouldn't need people to come across from another senior club to try and save your sorry doomed arse.

No argument about what we've done in the past and we need someone to come in, but don't see how a crook like McKenzie and his two pals are going to help us.

They'll have us in league 2 within 3 seasons.

Saturday was my first trip to Kelty and I was impressed. Clearly a lot of money has gone into the facilities as well as the playing side - something that doesn't always happen when benefactors are involved - and that gives the club a chance to now build a sustainable model. The community seem to be onside too which is crucial and certainly we got a warm welcome yesterday. Hopefully Kelty can go on and establish themselves as a self sustaining SFL club in the years ahead.
