Kelty Hearts League 2 Quest

Recommended Posts

I would think Stirling Albion will be one of the tougher tests faced in the league by Kelty this year. I'd expect Kelty to comfortably win League 2 but it'll be of no surprise when they drop daft points throughout the season; it's practically the norm at this level.

I agree with the notion that more signings will follow in January if things are tighter than expected. I can't quite see that being the case though. Other teams will be dropping points against each other as the weeks go on and that alone should see Kelty build up a points cushion ahead of the pack.

We are usually spot on with details but St Mirren literally have nowt anywhere.

Is that 3 B teams have now withdrawn due to Covid allegedly

Been a better comp if more LL and HL were invited.

Livi and Ross County withdrew a few weeks back, isn’t it more a case of lack of players?

I got that Cowden, we've been poor on this one too though.

The clubs have to agree prices on cup ties maybe be a delay on clearing that up?

As you say Kelty normally publicise things well ahead.

And Motherwell this week, allegedly due to lack of players due to isolation issues

Aye Motherwell said it was due to isolation issues, the time the other 2 withdrew was a good few weeks back anyone isolating them would be free to play now.

Ross County withdrew some weeks ago due to lack of players. Half their Colt teams still at school so have to be home in bed early!

More HL and LL would be better but remember the Colts teams were included to help develop our future International players🤔

Tbf, Rangers Colts have McCann and Weston who look future internationalists, just not Scottish ones 🤪

I don't know about that!

I think it was a very smart move from Kelty to get out of this shite meaningless cup after one game to concentrate on the real football that matters! Securing the League 2 title.

Ooft what an embarrassment for the big spending high flyers losing to a 'B' under 21 team.

I doubt anyone from Kelty will give two fox about the "challenge cup"  once  they get another three points on Saturday!

Of course it is!  It will be a good game.  Two good teams.

Should be! That Kelty front line is far too good for this level but have really enjoyed how Forfar have played so far this season so hopefully be a few goals.
