Will definitely be a sell out on our end then. Hopefully we can spring a cup upset against you!

Surely we are favourites 🤣. We did ok last year in the Premier Cup against you but this is a different kettle of fish.

Excellent display from the lads at the weekend , but have to go again tomorrow night at Elgin , going to be a tough one imo as they comfortably got a draw at Kelty and probably could’ve won it if didn’t just sit in once they got their goal

hoping for a wee 2-0 Kelty

Great win today in a game that could have went either way. Proper cup tie, end to end at times, in classic Scottish weather.  Dougie Hill & Hoops were immense in the absence of our first choices Forster & O'Ware at centre half.

What's O'Ware been like? There was a rumour going about a couple of weeks ago that he was linking up with Duffy again at Ayr.

Hope not he’s been brilliant for us but could easily step up a level or two

Crazy to schedule a mid week match in December. As it was a late postponement I imagine Kelty and the Elgin south players would have been close to Elgin

The Courier said that the Kelty squad had arrived before it was called off.

As you say madness on the part of the SPFL not calling it off earlier with the incoming weather having a team making a 450 mile round trip with a yellow weather warning.

Think Kelty bus got stuck somewhere as there was going to be a delayed kick off, if the game went ahead. Authorities would want it played quick to avoid fixture congestion at the end of the year.  Can be fine at this time of year and shit in March! Trip Elgin have made many a time, seen the north players not get home till 5 in morning on more than one occasion. Welcome to the realities of playing in the Scottish Leagues I guess.

Might well be shit in March, but usually fine in may, June and July.

Shocking. Everyone’s been predicting terrible weather. Surely that could have been called off much earlier.

Elgin would have been waiting for the Ref to see if the anticipated precipitation would have helped the pebbles bed in

Of course the north teams get affected more but my point was more about the SPFL and SFA for cup replays having people traveling long distances during a yellow warning.

Peoples safety is more important than if a game gets played.

Notice Montrose got 193 fans last night so spectators aren’t interested in standing in a storm watching a game.

I get your point entirely but if you were the ‘authorities’ there is more to it than just rearranging a game at short notice every time there is a storm forecast? Midweek games for all lower league clubs in the winter are a financial disaster, due in part to low attendances and loss of hospitality etc.
