Lets not start all this Christie out crap. We won a cup and the league under Max but that was with a team of good seasoned pro’s but many of them have now gone and replaced by young, inexperienced players who can’t cut it in this league.
Before we can see any improvement, we need an attacking midfielder who can get a goal or two, a target man (even with Zander) and a winger with a bit of pace.
See, this management lark is a piece of cake.
Come on BU’s

Is Max not responsible for the signing of the inexperienced payers who can’t cut it in this league ?

History is the past , we want to look to the future .

Think we need a wee bit more than the 3 positions you mention too .

So who is responsible for this squad that quite frankly have not been good enough. Are we going to be able to strengthen for next season as I have no idea what costs are involved. If it’s not Max wee need a plan to get him the tools for the job. But we are seeing teams smaller than us in a far better state than we are

It's hard work watching the BU's these days. The low number of chances we make in a game is the main issue.

It sure is. P32 W14 L13 D5

Zander                        P12 and scored 9 (big miss)  Injured since

Jamie McCormack  P21 missed 10 through suspension and 1 injured ( A big miss when not there)

Nick Locke.                 P19 missed  12through injury and 1 as unused sub (gives us options played 1 in the last 7)

Danny Galbraith.      P19 missed 13 through injury etc ( the big hope yet to fulfil what was expected)

Tom Grant.                 P18 missed 13 through covid and 1 unused sub

Craig Comrie            P10 out of first 17 got suspended not seen since (he could have made a

                                     difference)

Missing these players puts a lot of pressure on the rest of the squad when we have to plug these guys places with loan players. To be honest some have not been fit to wear the jersey.

There are more questions than answers regarding Craig Comrie.

Aye, so I’ve heard.

Maybe just another ex Sauchie player that’s found himself homesick !

We need to stay away from Sauchie for signings .

Only Morgan was a success .

And yet in the end, even Morgan couldn’t resist the lure of a return to Sauchie!

Stories will always circulate when players leave clubs, in Morgan’s case I heard the player was keen to resign but Max couldn’t guarantee him being a first pick. IMOHO Max should have resigned him and let him work for his place and if it didn’t work out let him go. We certainly could have done with his work ethic in the early games.

Max looked stunned in his post match interview. Emphasis on the "great spirit" of the players and passing reference to a lack of chances.
