Yes he made contact but could be argued that it was more accidental than deliberate2nd red came from a long Wick punt and it was a one on one when McCormack took him out. Skinner stood on the player's leg but was it deliberate? McCormack's foul did not prevent an obvious goal scoring opportunity as Locke was coming across to intercept. Much as I admire what Max has done with BU , he’s got to put his hands up to a roaring mess of signings at start of season . This now leaves a threadbare squad with Hunter basically forced to play . Also , an 18 year old standby keeper , hopefully the lad is good but really at this level , got to be exceptional . Never even saw him yesterday . So if Murphy had got injured/unwell/ sent off we were totally goosed . Fantastic gesture though with Michaels address to supporters on behalf on the players and to think Max wanted rid , would have been yet another poor decision on his part .
