Perhaps Bo'ness True Blues Rangers Supporters Club were actually at the game supporting Rangers B.

Of course they were there supporting Rangers you utter buffoon! As usual you’ve completely missed the point.

If the True Blues aren’t away following Rangers A or B, the RWFC or the under 14’s or whatever, it’d be good if they stopped in to watch the BU every now and again. Same with any other teams with local supporters clubs if their big team aren’t playing at the same time.

Why would they? BU voted against them being in the league …

According to the club website The True Blues sponsor United.
The vote by United against their inclusion in the LL was purely on a football matter.

Aye no doubt you’ll have mentioned that about 1000 times when you had them in hospitality.

And they’d maybe come along because it’s their home town team, it’s the big Rangers team they support first and foremost and because they’re not that petty or thick and know the BU vote was based solely on footballing principles not any anti-Rangers agenda.

Precisely.

I think the two old firm colts sides have been a welcome addition to the league.

It's raised the exposure and certainly added to footfall of support to clubs grounds including locals who won't usually visit local sides.

Valid points. However, it’s what happens if one of them tops the table at the end of the season. Another 50k perhaps or is the experiment agreed for this season on a tablet of stone or a piece of toilet paper.

I completely agree they’ve added to footfall and maybe even raised the standard of football, those were never the issues with the colts being admitted though.

That seems to have been sorted out. The LL appear to have agreed to remove the boundary between the HL and LL in the Club 42 playoff rules in exchange for getting the rule change approved to have a non-colt team that doesn't win the league as the champion in the playoff if the need arises. Suspect the colts will still be around next season if that's confirmed to be the case.

Is McCann the most expensive opposing player the BU's have faced in a competitive game at Newtown Park ?

Reckon Gary O'Connor will be the most expensive opposing player we have faced . Scottish Cup game at Selkirk. Think he transferred at some point in his career for just under 3 million.

Aye but he wasn't 23 stone when he transferred for £3m, unlike when he played against us at Selkirk.

I hope your suspicions don’t come to fruition. 1 season then bye.
