Saturday 11th December 2021
R2:
Haddington Athletic 4-2 Glenrothes (aet, FT 2-2)

Conference A ultimately takes the bragging rights.

Having meandered its way amongst the odd teams and cup eliminations of the opening half of the season, only 2 ties in R1 and 3 in R2 now outstanding: these clubs having secured their places in R3:

Armadale Thistle
Dunipace
Fauldhouse United
Haddington Athletic
Heriot-Watt University
Kinnoull
Livingston United
Oakley United
St Andrews United
Stoneyburn
Thornton Hibs
West Calder United
Whitburn
+ Bo'ness Athletic/Tweedmouth Rangers
+ Edinburgh United/Leith Athletic/Hawick RAU
+ Lochore Welfare/Lochgelly Albert/Syngenta

Saturday 29th January 2022
R1:
Edinburgh United 1-0 Leith Athletic

Edinburgh United maintain impressive form against their strong capital compatriots this season. That's now 2 wins/1 draw IIRC.

R1:
Lochgelly Albert 1-7 (seven) Syngenta     at Falkirk

Commanding win for Syngenta in a tie moved to Falkirk after previously being off in November. Victors travel to Lochore in R2.

Ants v Elephants, could have been 15 for the visitors. As one sided a game as I've seen in many a year.

Top moments - the opener coming straight from a corner, a couple rattled in from outside the box and the rain stopping in time for everyone to get home in the dry.

Good representation from Conference X - 7 of the last 16 (8 if Syngenta win in round 2).

Indeed - admittedly couple beat other Conference X sides to get there (Whitburn over Pumpherston and Armadale over Edinburgh College).

However been several wins over A&B opponents thusfar... Livingston over Coldstream, West Calder over Peebles, Fauldhouse over Kirkcaldy, Stoneyburn over Dalkeith and Bo'ness Athletic over Tweedmouth. Bo'ness Athletic/Fauldhouse and West Calder/Whitburn pairings guarantee somebody in QFs, while Armadale will be favourites and Livingston have a good shout. Syngenta also capable to win through.

Tie of round arguably Haddington v Oakley (being Conference A joint leaders v Conference B leaders).
