The Goth Clock
Armadale Thistle 1 - 1 Syngenta The punters were treated to a good old fashioned game of football on a heavy pitch today at the Volley. I'd say (only slightly biasedly) that the Dale should have won it. Some top class saves from the Syngenta keeper kept them in a hard fought first half. The floodlights coming on with 15 minutes to go just added to the atmosphere. A tremendous free kick swung in by JJ Henderson with four minutes to go landed at the trusty left foot of young Tomas Murphy who fairly dispatched it into the rigging causing wild scenes amongst the Dale faithful. Unfortunately, from a Dale point of view, Syngenta went up the other end two minutes later and won a free kick, from which a fine header found its way into the Armadale net causing equally wild scenes from the away fans. Well done to both teams for serving up a great game and well done to the referee for bowing to public pressure and letting the game go ahead... I personally think the loss of two points could have been avoided though.... The committee should have switched the floodlights back off after the Dale scored...
HibeeJibee
Saturday 4th December 2021 Armadale Thistle 1-1 Syngenta Bo'ness Athletic (seven) 7-1 Stoneyburn Fauldhouse United P-P Pumpherston Livingston United 1-1 Edinburgh College West Calder United 1-4 Whitburn Syngenta remain unbeaten, but their reign atop Conference X is over as Bo'ness Athletic retake that prized lead. While the Larbert men hold a benefit of games in hand this is clearly now a full-blown 4-way dogfight for qualification. Fauldhouse-Pumpherston succumbed to conditions.

Was a cracking old fashioned cup tie like game n when Syngenta equalised it showed why they will be worthy Champions. On a proper football pitch no one will live this Cracking Young Falkirk side with the exception of Young Darren Hill (40) and the even younger Andy Rodgers (38)

Bathgate will be bottom. Syngenta boys say Fauldhouse was their most difficult n skillful team they played this season. THATS A FACT ,,,, WHAT HAPPENED?

Whitburn Vale
Whitburn 2 Syngenta 1 Magnificent performance by Whitburn from start to finish..... Money bags Syngenta didn't fancy it in the conditions and with the home fans on their backs. Had an interesting discussion from the stand with Zander Diamond about a fantasy penalty they should hav had apparently according to him...... Long way to go but pleased with how Whitburn are playing right now.
The Goth Clock
Armadale Thistle 3 - 0 Livingston United Another decent game in front of a 200+ crowd at the Volunteer Park today. Livi started the brighter and ought to have taken the lead when they sprung the Dale's high line and went through one-on-one, but the keeper made a fine block at the edge of the box. Livi were then awarded a joke of a penalty midway through the half but justice was done as it was saved with the rebound blootered high over the crossbar. I'm not sure if it has landed yet! The Dale then got their act together, got control of the midfield and started creating chances. A shove in the box and the ref awarded a penalty that was duly dispatched by Robbie Feeney. The Dale continued to press after that but couldn't add an second and we went in at half time at 1-0. All one way traffic in the second half and the Dale went 2-0 up deservedly but in bizarre circumstances as a speculative cross from Scott Dalziel hit a defender and eluded the keeper, who was miles out, and slowly trickled over the line. Very poor from the keeper bit you make your own luck. The Dale continued to press and the newly signed right back, Greg Forrest, fired a long diagonal to the left wing that was picked up by the ever industrious Feeney. He played a nice pass to Coco Strickland, who held it up well for the onrushing Tomas Brady, who duly slotted it home. Best goal of the game. There then followed a flurry of substitutions. Armadale had a few more chances with the Livi keeper making a couple of very good saves to keep the scoreline down. My man of the match: JJ Henderson. Got into the game after a slow start and bossed the midfield. Subbed late on having run his legs down to the knees.
HibeeJibee
Saturday 11th December 2021 Armadale Thistle 3-0 Livingston United Bathgate Thistle 0-1 West Calder United Edinburgh College 0-3 Bo'ness Athletic Fauldhouse United 3-1 Stoneyburn Whitburn 2-1 Syngenta Cat well and truly among the pigeons in this conference now. Syngenta finally lose having been unbeaten all season until today, and drop out of the qualification places in the process in place of their vanquishers Whitburn, while Armadale close up to within a single point behind them. Bo'ness Athletic also win today to maintain their 1pt lead in a race which has been blown wide open. Next weekend is the last before the brief Christmas break kicks-in: Saturday 18th December 2021 Bo'ness Athletic v Fauldhouse United Livingston United v Whitburn (1:30pm) Pumpherston v Bathgate Thistle (1:30pm) Syngenta v Edinburgh College (3pm) West Calder United v Armadale Thistle (1:30pm)

Football and pitch should be taken collectively , That pitch today showed more baubles than Tam Weirs hat . Personally enjoyed the game but alas the pitch put paid to decent football. A draw in my humble opinion would have been a more reflective result. Fitbas all about opinions so keep them coming , Upwards and onwards for Syngenta no matter who manages them .

I sensed an arrogance from you lot, that I was glad to see Whitburn wasted no time in getting stuck in about...... Going to the likes of Whitburn Armadale and Fauldhouse, you are gonna get a game, from what I saw Syngenta are a good side and have games in hand so probably are favourites for the title. They just didnt fancy it when the going got tough yesterday and at Central Park in they kinda conditions with the pitch cutting up and the home fans on their backs they lost their edge. Long way to go but its shaping up to be some league. Ps,what's the script with Diamond, can only think hes off elsewhere.... Plus Dougie Hill is in the wrong job,he tried to outref the referee!! Loved one Whitburn fans comment when he was being subbed near the end......"Mind give the ref back his whistle number 10" Brilliant lol
