COWDENBEATH 2021-22

Looking forward to see who Maurice is getting in. He has us organised there is no doubt. We are lacking in quality in certain areas so hopefully he can address that. Impressed with what the new management team are doing so far.

Seems Coulson looked OK for you lot versus Stenny. What’s the shape of his play these days, still very raw?

The lad was brilliant. He is getting stronger on the pitch. He has the shackles off a bit and is learning a lot under mo. His positioning he takes up on the pitch hurts defenders. Was our motm yday and he also works very hard for his team mates which is a great quality at such a young age. Will only get better as well. He will go back to raith a far better player at end of season 100%

He has always played well when I have seen him. The only thing he needs to work on is his shooting. Like a lot of players, they play it safe and just try to hit the target. Needs to be more clinical, but early days.

Unfortunately for us this season, we haven't take our chances most of the time. Saturday was much better.

He improves every week and you just wonder if he had been given a chance earlier if both club and player would be better off for it already.

He will develop under MoRo. Had no chance under previous management.

He was very good yesterday, must not get carried away though. Was playing against some poor defenders. Could have scored two or three.

Very happy to hear it, and very glad the laddie is getting time and opportunity to help you and improve himself. Looks like he had more shots Saturday than Raith had.

Post up on official cowden fc website for a fans and ex players mixed game in May. Fans can bid to play in the game (10 spots available). As the official post says loads of ex players including colin cameron/toorie/marc mckenzie/mark ramsay/graeme brown/jay stein/bryan Gilfillan the list will go on!!..  the last game was around 3 or 4 years ago now and was a huge success so hoping for bigger and better. Any cowden fan wishing to bid get in touch and have a chance to share a pitch with an ex favourite or slide tackle sum1 you didnt like....lol. Also being In same team as an ex scotland internationalist in colin cameron and Mo Ross.

Will be a good day all around with a few beers after it

Thanks
