Regardless of how that team does tonight, and you'd expect it to be badly, we need an absolute minimum of four signings and ideally six or seven just to make eighth a realistic target. For all the talk of throwing youngsters in v East Kilbride, that's only three changes tonight with every established first team player available and the bench shows how desperately weak the squad is, before even considering the glaring flaws in the starting XI.

While we don't know how the fitness is after everyone was isolating, if Lyon is fit enough to be on the bench (or just to walk) he should always be ahead of Blues in the pecking order.

Been pleasantly surprised with how Morton have played given the shitshow that has been the last few weeks, and our pre-season in general. Brilliantly taken goal by 17 year-old Lewis McGregor, with Kilmarnock being limited to shots from distance, other than one chance where their player, unsure who, completely missed a cut-back.

Still definitely short on players as Dunning says above, and the subs might be the killer here as you'd expect we'll tire given our lack of games/training of late.

Is Chris Burke always such a greeting faced wee bitch?

This has been much better than expected. An incredible strike for the goal and obviously a bit smash and grab with coming from a quick throw while we've created nothing else, but we're competing well enough. While Kilmarnock have been wasteful and are dominating possession we're not being overrun and the only clear cut chance was Lyons' clean air swipe from the cutback. Strapp is handling Burke well enough but the organisation defending set pieces needs to improve.

The penalty shout the commentator is incessantly whining about is never a penalty. The freekick they thought was in the box and alleged foul before our goal were both blatant dives from Burke as well. Would have liked another look at the challenge on McLean.

The Pixellot camera just swinging back to the halfway line as the boy's running up to hit the penalty. Fucking hell [emoji38]
Asking folk to pay for that is genuinely criminal.
If you mean the killie game then the official stream wasn't using pixelott and the coverage was excellent. Would barely notice a difference in production quality between them and BBC Scotland.

Only problem was the main commentators absolutely chronic patter. Bawbag single handily ruined Morton's title party one year by being an annoying attention seeking arsehole and didn't think I'd every have to see or hear from him ever again. Getting Vietnam flashbacks to him trying to get Morton fans to sing songs instead of letting us enjoy our day and sing songs organically.

Morton behind in pre-season games and fitness, so not surprised we tired a bit.

We have still to add to the squad and that will make all the difference this season hopefully.

Defensively very sound so far, Oliver had a great game too. As did Hamilton.

More positive feeling about the season ahead if we can add that wee bit of quality
