First and foremost, hope the players are alright obviously.

If it's been "multiple" positives I don't see how we can possibly have a team for Tuesday night either; we only have 17 players so assuming others need to isolate as clpse contacts as well, if there are even as many as three positive we're surely not getting 11 players together.

Do you not have a reserve team that can supply players?

Game goes ahead behind closed doors for our "safety"

Absolute nonsense from Morton.

Coincidentally they've pretty much said the Tele were talking shite as well but you can almost guarantee that the Tele's Morton reporter will be at tonight's game..

They simply cannot be arsed accommodating fans. It's that simple.

Getting bit confused with these various stories but can anyone explain why cases among Morton players lead to the game proceeding but fans being barred?

Not even Morton can explain it. The tuck shop staff just couldn't be arsed dealing with fans. We're a burden on Greenock Morton. We hoped that would change under community ownership but so far it's the same old shite, if not worse.

I wasn't sure how many youth players we actually have left but we must have enough if it's going ahead. The total of 17 for the first team squad I had there was including three players with less than 20 first team appearances between them and another two with none as it is

We do have another three going out on loan to Cumnock, Kilbirnie and Gretna 2008 respectively, but no idea if they've actually moved yet and if we still have other youngsters available if not; with the youth leagues called off last season I don't know if we had any left on the books beyond those who went out on loan.

Really looking forward to seeing Garrity play, he got rave reviews in our friendly win over Cumbernault Colts last week.

Don't know a thing about the other young players, or have any sort of clue about what formation we'll be playing.

Aye, you'd think you could've tried some kind of course of self-improvement, but you're still the same old Gary.

Shame, that.

Been impressed with Garrity(14), hope he sees more game time this season.

Mcgregor (19) on the right wing has been decent as well. Can't ask for much more from a 17 year old making his debut. Alex King (21) had a few nice touches in Central midfield as well. 16 years old on his debut competing against veterans like Chris Millar. Well done lads.

Our centre backs have strolled it so far which is promising as well and Hamilton in goal has done what's asked of him.

Muirhead continues to be unable to pass a football 5 yards to an open man so it looks like his summer transition in to prime Zlatan isn't going to happen.
