mugen_power
Ayr Hamilton Falkirk Albion Rovers Edinburgh City Very meh...Hamilton again and then a bunch of nobodies. Ayr should be taking full points from this one
D'Jaffo
Hamilton and Falkirk might be decent indicators for us as you’d imagine Hamilton will be trying to get straight back up and Falkirk will be one of the stronger League 1 teams. Also, both will be wanting their squads in place for these games and not treating them as preseason friendlies.
honestly united
Rather we had somone other than Hamilton as that us playing them 5 times now, other than that very winnable group, but also chance we could be 3rd depending on Falkirk and how bad we start. Will be a good indication of how our recruitment was / style of play for the year etc
Chris_the_rover
We seem to draw Edinburgh constantly in this, also accies in our group for 3rd time,

Off the top of my head we’ve drawn Hamilton 3 times, Falkirk twice, Albion Rovers 3 times and Edinburgh City twice.
FortescueFotheringhamSmyth
6th season in this format. Clearly you're never going to switch between zones. Unlike some Central Belt clubs. You've drawn Accies & Albion 3 times; Falkirk, Livi, Embra, Raer & Annan twice; St.M, Killie, Clyde, Sons, Jags, Ton, Stenny & Berwick once. Teams in the South Zone in all 6 years include Airdrie, Q.o.S. & Queen's Park, so you've missed them every year. Accies, Albion, Annan, Embra & Raer have also been in every season, as have Clyde, Ton, Jags & St.M. You've swerved 'Well in all 5 seasons they've played and you've only got Killie, Sons & Stenny once out of 5. Livi have also played 5 seasons. Berwick have been in 4 seasons; Falkirk, Pars & EK 3; Rangers, Alloa, Spartans & Shire once. Maybe you've had slightly less variety than some clubs: you could have played 25 different clubs and you've only played 15 of them... but after three group wins, two 2nds and 4 qualifications out of 5, I don't think you should complain too loudly! FortescueFotheringhamSmyth
...and as a comparison to the 24 League Cup group games... The last 24 Scottish Cup ties Ayr have played v. SPFL opposition go back to the 08/09 season. The list includes 3 occasions when you've come out of the hat against Hibs and 2 ties apiece v. Clyde, Pars, Brechin & Queen's Park. roy of the rovers
I have to agree with Chris the streaming at the start of last season was poor but did improve a lot by the end of the season. Details: Priced at £12 to comply with SPFL rules, this includes a live stream of the match, with commentary from the media team. PPV access can be bought via this link: albionroversfc.univtec.com/event/60e2e98ae022481b54800d16 Edited July 8, 2021 by roy of the rovers added PPV link
ayrunitedfw
Albion Rovers telling away fans they can purchase tickets to then decide it’s actually home fans only and start cancelling orders. What a farce.

ayrunitedfw
Is there any particular reason Edinburgh City v Hamilton is tomorrow night opposed to Saturday? Do City still groundshare with Spartans?
