New Premiership Strips 2021-22

Agreed. If I ever won Euromillions I'd sponsor Saints for a couple seasons to have a blank shirt.

For one week every season, there should be a round of games where teams wear their old 1960sish strips.

No sponsors, no badges. Long sleeved, plain shirts. Numbers 1-11, no names on the back or anything.

Black boots.

For one throwback week (give it a snazzy marketing name).

I reckon it'd be hugely popular (with me, at least, and I don't really care about anyone else).

I'd sign up to that! Great idea.

And bring in a ref from the 60s for the game, would be some laugh

That’s a great shout.

Think they’ve done similar in American sports.

Great idea.

I remember Man Utd done that a few years back wearing the Munich era shirt.

… or if the 1960s strip is a particular problem for you, settle for the earliest one you can find.

Yeah, if I remember correctly both them and City wore them in a Manchester derby to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Munich disaster. Looked very nice.
