Rutherglen Glencairn 2021-22

Recommended Posts

McGinley, Coleman, Chrystal, O'Byrne, Miller, McGuire, Burns, Murray, Michael Lone, Maley, Coogans.

That's not a bad line-up, eh ?

None of them were available for selection tonight unfortunately.

We move on.

Massive win for Rutherglen Glencairn today.
It was indeed, getting the 2-goal lead really helped us as we'd lost late equalisers in 3 recent games. We never really looked like throwing it away after the second goal.

Wonder what the Ayrshire Guardiola is saying about todays defeat! The guys a weapon!

Fair play to glencairn they did a job on us today and deserved to beat us , wasn’t pretty but it was all about who could get the points .

No sure who the Ayrshire Guardiola is though and why he is a weapon 🤷‍♂️

Just looked at the table and Glencairn are in real trouble with teams around them having games in hand.
Hard to compete against Talbot on such form all the same.

You are right, but games in hand for teams at the bottom end of the table do not necessarily mean a guaranteed 3 points.

We'll see how things work out over the next 5 or 6 weeks.

Rutherglen Glencairn v Benburb on Saturday.

That's a 6 pointer game if there ever was one.

We have three home games in a row now, all 6 pointers.

Benburb, Kilbirnie Ladeside and Kirkintilloch Rob Roy.

That'll decide what league we're playing in next season.

Fair assessment. Do you carry a suspension from last night and is so, is it a big blow for these games?

Mick will be suspended for two games I think, which we could do without to be fair. But Keirin Coleman's  unexpected quick recovery from injury is a boost so he'll slip in there to replace him.

Correct but your statement also doesn't guarantee the Glens will pick points up!
