glensmad
McGinley, Leitch, Chrystal, O'Byrne, Miller, Burns, Maley, Michael Lone, Mitchell. Nine players missing today. A great result in the circumstances.Looking forward to welcoming a good number of them back into the squad for our next game in two weeks v Rob Roy. A wee bit of rest now will do us the world of good.

McGinley is in and out the team it seems, I thought he was signed as the number 1?

glensmad
McGinley has started 27 out of 43 games this season and has already signed for next season. He has had a couple of spells out with injury.
Andy groundhopper
Just back from the under 21's final v Johnstone, excellent 2-0 win was deserved overall. Cracking f.kick from Campbell on h/t , followed by another good finish by Traynor I think (lucky to get the free kick initially) The Burgh had one glorious chance, and a few half chances to get back into the game, but the better side won imo, probs around 3-400 in att.

Did read the comments from the assistant manager and wow they were ridiculous imo which he must regret now he has cooled off. Hopefully they were tearing into their CF Cummins who was a disgrace yesterday with lack of effort & a lazy arsed attitude. Never seen a guy well about 6ft who when jumps shrinks to 5ft. He was pathetic and never a footballer at this level.

The game is done history points lost forever. The assistant manager should be up on a charge. Whoever let him get interviewed by local reporter right after the game when he's hot under the collar to come out with mostly nonsense should be shot ( not literally of course ). You alright pal, you appear to be a seething mess.

Considering home team played with 10 men for so long I didn't think there was a huge amount in it,

glensmad
Keep believing The crazy thing is that, as it stands, 49 points might be enough to stay up, but 52 points might not. [emoji3061]
glensmad
We are delighted to announce that three members of Glencairn's Under 21 Scottish Cup winning squad have now joined the first team squad for season 2022-23. The latest graduates from The Glens' u21 trophy-winning conveyor belt are left back Connor Neilson (current u21 captain), central defender Anthony Maguire and striker Ross Smith. All three players have already featured several times for the first team in league matches this season and we now look forward to them being permanent first team players.
