kiddy
That was more like our C team than our B team. Guys like Urminsky, Reid and Finlayson who played in the last round victory against Kelty are on international duty for the youth teams. I don’t think a single player in our team today has played a minute of senior football before.Still, congrats to the wee Rovers good luck in the next round. St Mirren have always been a team of C's.[emoji2371]
Chris_the_rover
A walk in the park for rovers against a young St mirren team, I believe there were 5 changes to the saints starting line up v keltyRovers with a few changes tooHighlight was the first goal, felt bad for the St mirren defender, a 35 yard own goal bounced over the keepers head, 2 mins into the game it seemed to set the tone, St mirren produced nothing of note v a senior side who were full of confidence. It was a very steep learning g curveRovers won 6-0 but it honestly could have been 10/12
craigkillie
Based on the bracket it's quite possible Killie could win this tournament playing full-time teams in every round. Can't have happened very often.

vikingTON
Celtic B taking a riding by Morton's B team with nobody in attendance: what a terrible, wee shame. Montrose away in the next round now that nonsense is over with?

Chris_the_rover
This Colts thing clearly supports youngsters’ development and indisputably helps to grow the Scottish game. Yeh results like St Mirren youngsters getting destroyed and humiliated v a very average Albion Rovers side done them, their confidence and their development a whole load of good lol Especially the wee striker who got booked for taking a diveI hope the clubs take note that it's not a good idea
GNU_Linux
Instead of colts the top flight teams should field a veterans side of ex-players imo.
