Yeah I’m the same but do find redtv annoying. Coverage tends to vary depending on who the co commentator is. The main commentators are pretty shite and even rob McLean is far too one eyed when doing redtv. It’s actually quite patronising because you know they’re being biased apparently for your benefit.

Absolutely agree. Billy Dodds trying to convince us we were playing well as we're getting humped by County.

From memory of away games where the home stream was decent, Hibs commentary was pretty balanced in comparison to other years.

I voted for Aberdeen as when we last played at Pittodrie, they were showing some old 'Well v Aberdeen pre-match and I thought the quality of the coverage and the setup with the studio etc was great.

I voted for Dundee Utd as the worst, probably whilst fresh on my mind as last week I was picking up the home commentary for some reason and the commentary (I think maybe Jon Daly was on co-comms) was incredibly biased.

The thing that annoyed me most about our commentary over the course of the season was Jock Brown and Lewis Irons talking our players up just a bit too much. Particularly how often they praised Barry Maguire and Mark O'Hara as dead-ball specialists when neither a free-kick nor a corner from either resulted in a goal this season.

Always thought the Livi ones were great, other than them costing £20.

Rangers had by far and away the highest production value though, it was the cheapest in the division and Tyldseley was a quality commentator. Celtic easily the worst.

Aberdeen is Rob McLean’s  big team.

The worst thing about Dodds is I’ve heard a lot of him on sportsound and he has no natural inclination to be complimentary of us so just so it just seems so contrived on ‘Aberdeen tv’ as he likes to call it. Fud.

Thought Aberdeen production was excellent before and after, the commentators was far too positive at times when they shouldn't have been.

Can't judge Rangers or Hibs as those games was on TV. Celtic didn't have any coverage which is a disgrace. Because Aberdeen had an away team feature in all PPV I didn't really look at other clubs coverage. Did have a listen to Hamilton at half time and that was a bit brutal compared to us.

Was happy to help all clubs with PPV rather than get an illegal steam of the game. I doubt if I would have paid Rangers/Celtic if that was available.

Another highlight of Aberdeen’s coverage was having Andy Considine as co-commentator at one match, can’t remember which, and I would imagine him being banned by Derek McInnes from doing any more.

That was an eye opener for me. Especially when a lot of the folk defending the manager would blame the players. One of the most popular players then openly questions the managers tactics on a live stream.

RTV has been excellent this season.  Tyldsley was never a commentator that I particularly liked, but he's brought a level of professionalism to the commentary that he's done that is completely absent when Tom Miller does it.  Tom is just a fan with a microphone, and whilst I don't think that a certain level of bias on an in house TV station is a bad thing, some of his takes were absolutely honking.

The only other club TV channel I watched any of this season was the St Johnstone one.  RTV had launched a new platform that went into meltdown and I went away and found a stream of our game.  I dunno who the two guys were but I quite enjoyed listening to them.  They were pretty impartial and knowledgeable

I mind thinking the same about Andy's comments. Also felt his pain in the same game when he said "I got a red card for that last week !!" speaking about a challenge on a Dons player that went unpunished.

Can't say I enjoyed much of the RedTV coverage , but possibly due mainly to so many of the games being awful. t

I thought Fraser Fyvie was , by far, the best co-commentator with Willie Garner being the next best.

Shinnie was the worst commentator , with Rob McLean being the second worst

Hibs would have won it for me as their video production was top notch, would have believed it was an EPL team…

But their microphone was like some AMSR levels of sensitive, at times it felt like they were talking through a bag of sand whilst chewing the mic.

Therefore Aberdeen’s Red TV gets it.

Celtic TV was abysmal pish.

I was very impressed with Ross County's production, also thought Aberdeen's was decent too.

Funnily enough the first game that I had issues with regarding the home stream was Ross County away. Didn't work at the start of the game so switched to the away commentary. I remember most of the Dons fans who persevered praising the County commentary team. I think they even gave an Aberdeen player MOTM which is usually unheard of for away teams.

I think Rangers should be winning this. Best price, best commentary - still partial but far less so than others and more professional. Worst, probably the crooks at Livi and the Johnnies for trying to screw the last penny from opposition fans. I say probably because I didn't pay for either stream. The rest were much of a muchness. Celtic are just fannies.

It would have been Sean Dillon, although you could have had the away commentary if you'd paid for the stream you cheap c**t.

I went with the Home Comms as it was usually easier to Chromecast it to my TV.

Clubs that did no PPV:
Celtic - F

Clubs that did no Build-up other than just the comms:
Kilmarnock - C Very meh.
Motherwell - B+ Jock Brown on comms jumps this up considerably.
Livingston - C-  The commentary was quite good from memory, but for £20 you would expect a slightly better pre-match build-up.
St Johnstone D  I remember their co-commentator being ridiculously biased in the 0-0 at McDiarmid in October, also was £17.50 which was a ripoff.

Clubs that did some pre-match build up:
Dundee United - C+ I'm big fan of Ally and Dillo on the pre-match, although it is filmed quite a while before kick-off. The main commentator is quite good, but the co-comms was pretty poor although Benji was really good when he filled in post-split. Also had quite a few sound issues over the season.
Hibernian - C  David Tanner is not my cup of team, but points for the funny pizza advert and the commentators were both quite good. Sound balance was all over the place.
Hamilton Accies - B- £15 is a bit much, but thought AcciesTV was quite good, they had decent coverage (minus Jobbygate) and they had Ian Ferguson on for the United game in October.
Ross County - B- The only club that I had major technical issues with, but RCTV was quite good with Rory Hamilton and Lyall as commentators (although Craigan was annoying).
Rangers - A- Probably the best coverage and definitely the most professional with Call me Clive who still is a quality commentator. Although no option for an away comms, and "WHATS The GOALIE DAEING" Tam and Alex Rae were minuses. £9.99 was also very affordable from Rangers.
Aberdeen - A- I can't actually remember too much of RedTV except it being quite professional, with Rob McLean doing the presenting.
St Mirren - A+ I was very impressed with BuddiesTV, the main presenter is very good and well informed, the commentators were also alright given that they had to commentate on two utterly horrific 0-0 draws against United. Also doing post-match interviews as well was a big plus from me.

Celtic the worst.

There were several decent ones. County's was good as was the Hibs effort and the Aberdeen one.
