Didnt realise Coyle was in India. He plummeted.

With regards to Petrie, how good can a job at the bank be? Working at the bank must be shite. Grow up Stewart n get in for a chat.

Also, why is John McGlynn not on that list? We are huge.
Just not as huge as us.

Feels a bit like the Goodwin to St Mirren scenario. If any full time club were to tempt Petrie into full time football management, it would be us. However, he seems to have a decent job at the bank. I’d assume that will have better pay and be a lot more stable than coming to manage us.

It probably is a lot more stable but - surely you have to give full time football management a go? He can walk back into the banking sector at any given time. Not many chances will crop up to manage a club you adore.

McCall's just punted Joe Cardle and Ryan Williamson from the Jags.

How about Joe as your player-manager/coach?

No way, just no way.

We need a manager, not a gamble, it's not play your cards right mind.

Well so what, go and get him.

Stewart Petrie for me. Bit obvious, but he's the stand out name.

Brilliant job at Montrose for 5 years now. Shown he has an aptitude for football management. The fact that he's a a very popular former player is secondary.

His time has come to give full time a go and see how far he can go.

Not a bad shout

Is it?

He's ruled himself out of every Premiership gig that's been on the go apart from Aberdeen for a good while now. The boy has an overinflated ego. He's like a slightly more bearable Steven Presley.
