DA Baracus
Sounds like a bunch of lads are having a good time outside of Dens. Lots of singing can be heard. Good on them I say. Well deserved bit of celebration.
Yenitit
To be fair to Killie they were the better side in the 1st 5 minutes of both games
BucksburnDandy
Congratulations to Dundee. I wasn't sure how McPake would setup tonight and thought he might try and protect what you had. So for the game to be all but done inside 12 minutes says a lot about the work done on Kilmarnock and realising that they couldn't handle fast, attacking play. Dundee fans have been through some lean times over the last few years so deserve to enjoy your night.Kilmarnock. Wow, a shitshow. No discernible style of play other than to lump it, no character, no fight. Just a bunch of limp, listless, beige players who deserve the relegation they got tonight. You look back as a neutral at the decision making post Clarke from the Kilmarnock board:Appointing Alessio then bricking it after a bad spellAppointing Dyer for no other reason than he was popular Hanging on to Dyer for so long that Tommy Wright had no transfer window to bring in playersAbsolutely brutal decision making all round. The fact that Lafferty almost got Killie out of it papered over a team who stunk the place out this season.I'm 29 so essentially Kilmarnock have been part of the furniture of the top league for me. Tonight is a big change in that regard. Feel heartfelt sorry for Kilmarnock fans who deserve better.
mylothedog
Danny Mullen. Two seasons ago scores against the Arabs in the play off final. This season, scores for Dundee in the same fixture. A Dundee hero

Sortmeout
Well done Dundee who deserve praise for their good performance in the tie. We were terrible but partly that was because of how hard Dundee worked. Outfought and out classed us.

killiepiemuncher
Thank f**k that’s over. Well done Dundee. A lot of work to be done at Rugby Park now. Let’s hope they are up to the task because we’re truly fuckerooed if they’re not. Thank you.

No good could come of trying to talk to a load of angry fans. Agreed. What's the average Killie player on? £1K a week? £850? They aren't paid enough to deal face-to-face with a group of people pissed off and telling them how much they suck.

When Kilmarnock went up Meadowbank Thistle, Clydebank, Airdriedonians and Rangers still existed. Berwick and East Stirlingshire were in the Scottish League. Ross County, Elgin, Peterhead, Cove Rangers, Inverness Thistle and Inverness Caledonian were in the Highland League. Annan Ath and Edinburgh City were East of Scotland League. New boys Kelty were Fife Juniors. Football was being played at Kilbowie, Boghead, Brockville, Firs Park now all long gone. And fanzines were a thing. 28 years at the top was a pretty good run for Kilmarnock considering everyone except Celtic and Aberdeen (and the Dons could have done) have had at least one season out of the top flight during that time.

I put a post in the Dundee topic saying how happy I was for Charlie Adam after losing his mum, contracting covid and being apart from family all within a year that gaining promotion with Dundee (a team he grew up supporting and stood on the terrace with his dad who has also passed) would give him a real boost. Horrible bastirt red dotted it within about 10 seconds. Some man is Flab. A horrible one, sadly.
