When you announce a signing with *'insert player' has played over so many hundred games at SPFL level* then its only going one way. Geniunely baffling that after watching the Shire and EK spend hundreds of thousands on ageing duds that Berwick see this as the way forward

The key difference being that we're not. Massive clubs attract players. Deal with it.

Scott Taylor-Mackenzie has left to join LTHV (personal/family reasons - genuinely needs to play nearer his home)

Conrad Balatoni has joined Berwick from Clyde. (On loan for this season, but pre-contract signed for next).

We've been crap in the cups, but despite a long injury list we've won 7 of the last 8 league games. Serial nutters have been duly silenced.

EDIT - er, make that 7 out of 9......

Balatoni's signing has been cancelled.

Our average age came down with signing of Thomas Kay…to about 35

Are there no Bandits fans at all who would like to tell us about the magnificent 1-1 draw with the behemoths of Stenhousemuir?

How did Liam Buchanan look for you?

And more importantly did Berwick-the-unbearable and Vomit90 have a meet up to discuss the future trolling of the mighty Cowden this season? 🤨

Cowdenbeath 0-0 *checks notes* Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts FC

Liam Buchanan looked absolutely resplendent in Berwick colours. Perhaps you could stop this disgusting trolling and instead use the time to have a word with your club about their social media header images - it appears your club is in denial about the Lowland League's best striker playing for Stuart Malcolm next season. Oh dear!

Vomit90 has a ring to it, kudos.

I thought that Hearts started tentatively, on a pretty poor, bumpy and very dry surface.  However, once they took the lead after 30 minutes, they didn't look back. The 2nd goal (penalty/DOGSO/red card) was just the trigger for the goal spree that followed.

Hearts Connor Smith (#7) was the best player on the park by some distance, but I don't think he will remain with Hearts B all season (He was Queen's Park's YPOTY on loan last season), so is capable of playing at a higher level than the LL.

It's difficult to read too much into the result from Berwick's viewpoint.  Their season will not be defined by their results against the B teams.
