We wouldn’t be appointing a Sporting Director as well as a new Head Coach if we couldn’t afford it. If any of those parents are really that bothered I’m sure they could contact the club to ask for a refund.

Have you ever considered a job in PR?

As it is, I'm not sure why you're so convinced that Inverness would only hire people that they can afford, given your string of eye-watering financial losses at this level.

Those losses were pretty much down to youth spending for the project brave requirements or the stupid contracts we had dished out the year we were relegated. All of which should now be gone. Ive no idea what our finances are currently like but considering we weren’t willing to invest a single penny into our own streaming service for last season, I don’t see us splashing out on a head coach when we could have just kept Robertson in the same role he had before he was off if we couldn’t afford it.

Parents have to pay for pretty much every club that they send their kids to, not really sure why football should be any different.

Your supposed to be a Professional Football Club hoping to attract the brightest players in your and wider area.

To quote Duncan Shearer, it’s a bit of a kick in the teeth for parents who were asked to pay a tenner a week to have their kids train with Caley, then they appoint a Director of Football on top of a Manager at a mid table Championship club who are as near as dammit skint?

We’re nowhere near as skint as the press and fans of other clubs think and hope we are.

Did you not just receive a "six figure fee" for Mackay aswell?

Weird how in Scottish football not spending every single penny you have is a sign you're fucked financially, while spending every single penny you have is a good thing as it shows "ambition".

£150k plus future % for MacKay is was, aye.

The finances were poor but never as bad as it was made out about 12/18 months ago in the press.

Yes, as mentioned only £150,000 but we’ve been slashing our wage bill for 4 years and play a lot of youngsters now who will be on peanuts.

Also, as mentioned we’re not forking out on daft stuff to get some kind of youth quality mark or whatever the fuck it was.

Wishful thinking on your part but far from the truth.

Charity begins at Home and it's past time the  Elgin board starting spending money on your dump of a stadium.

The club have played this “We’re skint, give us cash Mr Savage!” routine what seems like pretty much every season for the last decade.

FTFY.

Liam Fox leaves as Livi assistant manager to take up another job offer. Inverness bound?

Doubt it. We haven’t started interviews yet so it would be very surprising.

It’s in the Record, I think, saying he is going to another Premiership club.

Hearing that a certain Ross County, St Johnstone and eh…Burnley manager is being considered.

An absolute no from me.

Owen Coyle and if so, why not?

He is in charge of an Indian club so we would have to pay compensation which may be an issue.

Owen Coyle’s stock has plummeted from when he was being touted for a top 6 job in England.

In some ways returning to a lower league club in Scotland might be a decent move and allow him to rebuild his career a bit. I don’t however, think he’s the right fit for Inverness.

There is a reason why he is managing in India.

As said above it would be a terrible appointment. The job he did at Ross County as horrific.
