So unlike him. I hope he more than makes up for it next week. Think that's harsh. He ends up playing a deeper role against the OF and in this game, so less of his work is done near the box and it's easy to miss what he's adding. He's a one off in that he's a defensive workhorse, but also able to provide the match winning spark. Its him who bursts a gut to win the ball, then find a pass, which led to our goal. 5 hours ago, Fife Saint said: I like the effort here. I like even more the fact that the coaching team will have them prepared as f**k and we can just sit back and watch it unfold. Yeah suspect they noticed it during the match and have already started working on it, but it's a similar issue we get v Rangers with the 5-2-3/3-4-3 shape. Kent constantly comes inside like that and finds space. We counteracted that by pushing Kerr onto him, like last night, but they eventually realised that opened up even more space behind him and Kent was quicker on the turn. Think the Cup game was our best approach, 3 in the middle. The "wide" CMs almost mark the opposing FBs while the two strikers sit narrow and block passes central along with the other 2 CMs.

I suppose the set piece delivery and chances to shoot are the obvious things to spot and they were so disappointing.

What was her take on Saints style of play? Does she think Ali McCann is better than De Bruyne? Does she even like football or was she just saying that to be near you? Does she have a penchant for midget porn?
Radford
Definite food for thought today. Booth comes back in for me. Brings his experience but also the relationship with Wotherspoon. Liam Craig an interesting one. Thought he was very good today until they brought on Lawless. A real pivot in much of our good play. But can he play in a two against Galatasaray? And if it's a three then you have Wotherspoon more central and negate the reasons for bringing Booth back in.

We seem to play more football with Liam in the side but he isn't mobile enough for me to be playing on Thursday. I would've had Bryson in as he's inbetween Muzz and Liam in style of play but Muzz is there to do a job and as long as he doesn't get booked early I think he'll do fine. If we can keep them out till the second half I think we will win.
jamamafegan
Now that the #fullhouse has been announced it’s time to have a good old crowd w**k. How many will we have? Will there be a mad dash for tickets? Will there be a significant Turkish presence in the stands? It’s all very exciting. I’m not sure how many seats we have to leave for the social distancing nonsense but aside from that there might not be an empty seat in the ground.

Not sure how when apparently there was no general sale though?

Refreshing to see a club using a game like this to give their fans an occasion rather than using it to see how much they can squeeze out of them. Good on the saints board for this.
saint pogo
If they were serious about making it an occasion they would hand out flares to every fan and take the fine on the chin I would pay extra for that
