GallowayBlue
This might just be my Stranraer focus, but I have a feeling that Stranraer might have been in the lower league playoff more than any other team over the last 16 years. Does anyone know if that is right? I also feel like we might have the worst record in terms of attempts/getting promotion.
Clayhole Blue
Read recently that, along with Airdrie, we have the worst record of success in the play-offs. But I think both clubs also benefitted twice, having lost in finals, from the demise of Gretna and Rangers’ liquidation.
Blue Moon
Stranraer have featured in playoffs on 8 occasions and been unsuccessful every time. Although twice benefitting as final losers due to demise of Gretna and Rangers.
MAGYAR1
Since 2005-6 and the introduction of the play-offs, Stranraer have featured 8 times and lost them all. I make it 2005-6,2006-7,2007-8,2011-12,2013-14,2014-15,2015-16 and 2020-21. Airdrie are sitting on played in 6 play offs and lost them all with the games against Morton to come. Raith are sitting on played in 6 play offs and lost them all. Alloa and Cowdenbeath have won the most playoffs, with 4 each. Fun facts.
