Having watched all the preseason games, It showed up how far behind broxburn have become. There is nothing in midfield but try to be a passing team. Defense isn't as strong, and the new striker doesnt get much service.  Any team closing us down fast will win everytime. Penicuik next week and I dont know how we're going to win that. Anyway preseason games mean nothing lol

Not so sure we don’t look as soft as last year.  I thought yesterday was more of a surprise for the Broxburn team.  Having beaten the Shire I got the impression they thought they just needed to turn up. I think it came as a bit of a shock how good Stirling were (apart from their finishing).  Good wake up call or a sign of things to come we shall see over the next few months

Lucky to get nil. Toothless.
Could be a long season unless it's a particularly weak league.
My first game since Feb 2020.
No masks required.
Decent turnout but you get more people in the ground at a car boot sale anyway.

Was it a bad watch mate?

Noi it could just be that Tayport are really going to compete against Lochee, Carnoustie & Broughty this year.  Some excellent young lads.

If the Spanish lad (Sam Sanchez) Tayport have, is not playing for the likes of Montrose or East fife by the turn of the year I will be astonished. Absolute standout at this level.

St Andrews just looked far too lightweight apart from Michael Fleming at the back.  He looks pretty decent to my eyes.

Heard Tayport have certainly improved which is good to see and the top 4 in that league will be interesting.....

Surprised Saints haven't strengthened after a frustrating previous season for them, but a hard area to attract players....
