That was Saturday.

This game sticks-out as a "red herring" tbh.

It was played on Saturday- Fans were let in and The Mantis caught the first half at Hermand Park and told me at Pumph v Edinburgh United when I met him there that Thorniewood were looking the better team.

Red Herring or cock up with dates..

Funny, I did the whole game at West Calder and the second half at Pumphy.

West Calder were pretty poor, and some of the boys looked like they were carrying a fair amount of lockdown weight.

Newburgh 0 Tayport 3, red card after just over 30 minutes for a very bad challenge ruined it for Newburgh, after that Tayport were much stronger.

I've been to four pre-season friendlies so far and they've all had their moments of brutality, with some of the games oddly niggly. Not that common for pre-season. A consequence of frustration being let loose after the shut-down?

I think you're right. I've been to 7 games in the last 4 weeks since fans are allowed again. Three of them were friendlies (others were SWPL, NCL, amateur & welfare). The 2 most brutal games were both friendlies (this one and Haddington v Musselburgh on Saturday).

A decent rammy at Cauther first half.
