Stewart talking nonsense.

He really is a talentless c**t. He’s one of these guys that finds himself as a commentator/summariser at the BBC by default and he’s then there for the next 20 years.  It’s fucking depressing

Think this game is far from over but it will take something really special from them. Undone by 2 passes, and more importantly finishes of the very highest order, and a fucking ridiculously bad refereeing decision. Raith play some really nice stuff, finishing 3rd didn’t help them but they are decent cuntos all round.

It’s over. At 2-0 it was extremely unlikely, the third goal made Saturday an absolute dead rubber

Mulvanny was involved in Utd Hibs at the weekend. Don’t know if it’s him who ruled out tonight/gave the goal at the weekend.

The first assistant usually runs the line next to the dugouts so it was Mulvanny I think.

Obviously the linesman had a nuke with the offside but Dundee strolled that tonight which is no shame on ourselves. Many Rovers fans, myself included, have waxed lyrically about our team and how we've played at points this season but Adam showed why he's played at the highest level. Dundee's defence did well to limit us to opportunities and it showed that they had competent centre halves rather than untested teens along with Jack Hamilton in goals. McMullan caused issues for us throughout the game and both of McGhee's finishes were superb. You've hit form at the perfect point, the  signings of Legdzins, Cummings, Fontaine and McMullan have all changed the dynamic of how the team play.
For ourselves, it's been an outstanding season. Obviously Saturday is a write off barring an absolute miracle but there's so much to be positive about our club at the moment.

Think you’ve nailed it there.

If you get County you should stroll it. Killie with Lafferty, and even Kiltie would be a much tougher test - particularly with Wright managing them. Would expect a high degree of organisation which might limit Adam more than our naive efforts tonight.

They lost multiple leads in crunch time against a team with nothing to play for.

Kilmarnock are rubbish.

Really like Raith as a club and if we are not to go up, I'd much rather it have been against them than County or Killie, but f**k the pain I'd feel if we don't see this tie out now.

We were excellent tonight and really deserved our 3 goal lead, but a point needs to be made about Raith, other than the disallowed goal, they didn't threaten us once and Legzdins didn't have a save to make. With firepower like Vaughan (and even just haddy target men like Ugwu) and the creative prowess of Hendry, you really needed to be doing better at home and that has to be a little bit of a downer, no matter how good the season has been.

When we finished 3rd, we never going up. only target was don’t lose to the Pars in the play-offs. Job done. Hopefully crowds in next season and a couple of trips to the Elizabethan

This no crowd caper has ruined the season (along with a manager who thinks tactics are white sweeties in a clear box). Looking forward to the match day experience once more.

It’d be difficult to chose who I’d want to win the final between Dundee and Killie.

Quite like Dundee as a club, see them as similar to ourselves (probably as we spent a lot of time together at the top of the 1st div in the mid/late-nineties) so would prefer them to do well than another nothing west-coast club like Killie.
But then I’d rather go to Dens next season than Rugby park, and I think Killies budget would be far bigger than Dundee’s if they were in the championship next season.

If Dundee are playing Ross County then ‘mon the Dee.

Play offs - particularly if starting from third or fourth have to be a squad effort and I've said before, we've got a really decent first 11, but the quality of the squad isn't there, particularly up front or at CB: No Masonda at the back tonight and McKay out the whole season left us relying on (again) Iain Davidson who was never faultless at his peak.

Meanwhile, up top we've only barely had Vaughan fit for maybe a half dozen games. The rest of the striker quality is highly variable. Ugwu, despite no pre season looks passable, Duku, after a good start faded quickly to nothing and Abraham doesn't count as a footballer.

We did well over a season. Would be a hilariously bad collapse from Dundee to let us back in it.

I think what this game showed clearly was that we didn’t hit the mark with the January window. We really needed a scorer and some stiffening in defense, we got neither, and we wore down. Dundee, on the other hand, found Cummings, Fontaine and Legzdins  to join Adam and reinvigorate their team. JMcG was conservative in the window, and in the end we paid by leaking enough points that we slipped to second. If this game was us with rest, the result would have likely been much closer, but likely still a Dundee win.

Fair play to Dundee, a comprehensive win, and well played. 3-0 is a little flattering with the disallowed goal, but we were never really a threat to win the match. For a newly promoted side that didn’t make wholesale changes, a really good season.

Yeah they play some nice stuff but it’s in areas that don’t hurt you and is too slow at getting it forward most of the time.

Hendry’s a good player but he’s got to pick the pace of his game up.

Yeah if it’s Ross county, we’ll all be behind Dundee making it up. A championship consisting of County and Hamilton would suit us if we seriously want to maintain challenging at the top end of table. Yeah it would be better if Dundee stayed down for the crowds etc, but after this season and what we can do on the park, the next step is ultimately getting into the Top league.

Hendry has looked a quality player in a lot of games this season but has been absolutely anonymous in the two massive games against us over the past few weeks.

Not so sure on our rumoured PCA offer after these performances.
