Duffy's Dumbarton Duffers v Peterheid

Recommended Posts

Doomed or a miracle?

I reckon we'll trickle into the playoffs like a sweaty wee fart that promised to be a big meaty one.

Prediction; Dumbarton 0 (nil) - Peterhead 1

We won't score. Peterhead probably will. Which, if nothing else, saves us the pain of watching Clyde beat East Fife on Thursday.

Start Crossan plz Jim. And don't play Tam Brindley as a winger.

I’m off on Wednesday so at least I can have a few beers to numb the pain of having to watch what will hopefully be Duffy’s last regular league game. I’ve had to endure the last 2 or 3 stone cold sober.

Think we have our cases packed ready for our summer break. When it looked as if Forfar would not score we gift wrapped a couple goals for them. It is up to Dumbarton to show they want to stay up. Would not be too disappointed if the Sons manage a win be worth it to see the Broadwood mob panic for a couple days.

Is it likely that Duffy will leave in the summer regardless if you stay up or go down?

He's out of contract so hopefully but nothing at this club would surprise me. Probably get John Arne Riise in or something

Finn Kalvik. He got nil points in the Eurovision Song Contest so is the perfect fit for Dumbarton

I was told last night that PJ Crossan limped off injured with three minutes left on Saturday - did anyone see this on the live stream ?

Also, if we finish 9th there's potentially another four games to be played in the Play-Offs 😱

Now you mention it, I think he did. I was only semi-concentrating by that stage because I was writing my report, but I remember seeing him sat in the dugout before the final whistle.

Anyway. Annan is lovely at this time of year.

From where I was, it seemed like he done his hamstring after booting the ball away, he limped back to the dugout after that

Assuming the weather in G82 is as bad as it is in G62 then I wonder what chance the game has of going ahead tomorrow night. Could we even see it postponed and moved to Thursday...

It's bad aye. Roads are flooding. Given our pitch is basically a sand bunker at the moment I don't have high hopes for tomorrow.
