Clyde v East Fife

On another point, the fact Dumbarton are affected means nothing either; if this had happened when EF play Peterhead why should that be viewed differently?

If East Fife are playing Peterhead in a deid rubber and they want to forfeit games they can batter in. If East Fife want to forfeit games that can potentially impact relegation, or promotion for that matter, based on some moral thing they completely dreamed up, then yes it absolutely should be viewed differently. If Clyde haven’t followed protocols then fair enough but the fact the game was given the green light suggests no protocols were broken and therefore the infected player posed no risk to anyone else on the park.

The season at part time level should have been binned months ago. Madness to carry on the fans couldn’t give a hoot about a stop start season watching pixelot streams. Only fans that were desperate to get a conclusion was Falkirk and look how that turned out. Abandon the season now and make Raith Rovers European Champions.

Wouldn’t it be nice to just be sitting in a stadium, losing 3-0 and screaming about how rubbish we are whilst listening to a section of Clyde fans calling East Fife fans “Teuchter B******s” (yes, I know...). Those were the days!

What happened to the #OneStandAlliance, brother?

Genuine question as I’ve not got a clue about the rules; does anyone know if there is a deadline on when test results need to be provided by? You’d imagine that would be a protocol? If this was a test done on Saturday, in preparation for the game tonight, the result must surely be made available the day before/morning of kick off for reactive measures to be put in place. If that’s not a protocol then what’s the point?

Been covered by myself and a few others but potentially tonights test results could've been for the upcoming Forfar fixture on Thursday.

This test was for Thursday's match. Players had been tested for tonight's match with no issues at that time. Results need to be provided 48hours before kick off.

Quote from East Fife; “The club were only made aware of a positive test for COVID-19 within the Clyde camp as the players were entering the field of play before kick-off. We understand the test was taken on Saturday with the result only confirmed around 20 minutes before kick-off.

Test taken on Saturday, to allow two days for the results, which allows us to submit the results tonight, 48 hours before Thursday’s game. I think the whole “short notice” thing has prompted some of the reaction from the East Fife side of things.
