He only has to stop it if it denies a clear goal scoring opportunity or for violent conduct or serious foul play.

Otherwise he can allow play to continue and issue the yellow card at the next break of play. It was McGregors second yellow so hes then sent off.

Thats the laws as far as im aware and McGregor fucked it not the ref by making a stupid as f**k tackle.

Lets not dress it up as anything other than that, we were shit however there was nothing at stake so we move on

You are far too sensible to be an arse cheek supporter Jinky.

Two tackles two cards, the last time I saw that happen was van djik against inter Milan, not even a wee word next tackle you're  off.

The refs are also told to try and keep 11 v 11 on the park,he gave the advantage to sevco to score the goal there is no need to go back and book the player.

Seriously...   I mean, seriously...

Not in the rules.

It’s not “rules”,  it’s “laws”, and allowing play to continue and then going back to administer a red or yellow card was one of the new laws inserted two seasons ago.

It was a dead rubber and the result didn't matter M8,the ref fecked it.

If genuinely a dead rubber and the result really really didn’t matter then why would you sport an opinion / get exercised over the ref’s performance? 🤔

Apart from once again confirming how shite Celtic are -  it was quite telling to see Roofe scoring as many against us in one game as wee Huffalo has in five seasons.

That’s really quite something you’re trying to hold on to there 😂

If that’s the road you’re going down, Roofe has scored the same amount of league goals against Celtic in 1 game as Griffiths has against Rangers in 6 seasons.

See to be honest I think I prefer getting it all in one go as opposed to Dele who drags it out all day.

This. The heel turn of @Mr. Alli over the past season, to become an undisputed Rangers fan, is genuinely disgusting.

You can tell @MJC is a just a wee try hard bairn desperate for the attention, but Dele is something else entirely.

Sad to see.

It's not the refs job to coach players through a game, he's under no obligation to tell McGregor to not be a complete moron flying into challenges whilst booked.

What exactly does that tell you?
