Well the curse of Forthbank continues, that’s 3 home games on the trot we have lost. Had chances tonight but Lady Luck seems to have left us.

These Forthbank games are following a worrying pattern. The team starts well, looks fluent and inventive going forward, but once a goal is conceded there seems to be no resilience, no creative drive. (Last night's brief interplay from Bikey and Heaver for the goal was the exception that proves the rule.) I get nostalgic for memorable fightbacks led by the likes of Ross Forsyth in days gone by.

At this sharp end of the season, where every game is with closely-matched teams (some of which are picking up momentum at the right time), this lack of resilience is a real problem.

The offside one from Galty’s perfect cross must have been very close.

That one was actually McHugh. He was also on the end of one not long after that Sal would probably have buried ( after a great run and pinpoint cross from Doyle)

Thought we had a bit of a shaky start to the game last night. Nearly lost a similar careless goal to Friday when Carroll got caught sleeping but Willie was so quick off his line to block the effort before Morrison thankfully booted it clear this time. It was all a bit pedestrian until their keeper had a 'mare from Sal's free kick. It was good so get a well struck free kick on target for a change, most of our recent efforts have sailed wildly over the bar.

Second half a different story. We dominated the game without having to stretch ourselves that much. Connell started to ping around some lovely passes and we started putting in some great balls and crosses for Sal to attack like we know he can. Should have been 3 or 4 up before Stirling pulled one back

Agree re Sean Heaver what does he have to do to get into the team. Tonight Declan Byrne gets the nod ahead of him and does nothing.
If I were Sean I would be looking for another Club, clearly KR does not rate him.

I can't work it out. It's completely bizarre. Absolutely no surprise he came on the other night, lit the game up and got rewarded with a goal. I remember he was outstanding in a game earlier in the season against Montrose along with Mackin. He played a total of 9 minutes in the following 4 games with 3 of those games being an unused sub. Even if he is woeful in training, (many of the top players are), he should have had more opportunities.  It's a results business and not playing your best team is criminal. Be interesting to see the starting line-up tonight.
