Raith vs Hearts

Recommended Posts

This is a bottle job from Raith. Fair enough being pumped by Hearts. But the capitulation of the way they've done it.
McGlynn has shat the bed with a ridiculous formation after allowing us to look like Barcelona for 75 minutes last week.
Long may this continue for another couple of games! We were 4 points behind a week ago.
Pretty much this. McGlynn has to take full blame for the past 6 days disaster.

Didn't you lose six goals to this Hearts side earlier in the season?

Yeah, the first game of the season. We also beat them 3-1.

I don't really see your point? It's hardly a bottle job or a capitulation of 2nd place on the opening day... I even stated, that it's fair enough to get pumped by Hearts. The capitulation is horrendous, however. You should have 2nd in the bag, regardless of what you were aiming for at the start of the season. Your manager is to blame for the past 6 days IMO. Gave us far too much respect for a start even if we ignore tonight.

Unless you're Raith Rovers...

At least we’ve moved on from fielding our 5th choice ‘keeper.

Our best hope of getting through against Raith is that McGlynn continues to bottle it, he had a shocker when the pressure was on in the Fife Derby title decider, he seems to have made mistakes tonight.

Seems there’s a fine line between McGlynn having a tactical masterclass or utter disaster in high pressure games. Our play off record, however, speaks for itself. Enjoy your win next week.

With us having nothing to play for we've played a much weakened side.

Momentum means a lot in these things tbf.

Although not as much as a crucial player getting injured!

Don't think there's been much over reaction. This has been an awful performance,  a poor team selection, and absolutely zero lessons having been learned from last time we played Hearts.

I doubt Hearts have had many easier games this season, the fact we've had a good season shouldn't mitigate the fact that tonight has been absolutely pathetic.
