Aberdeen vs Dundee United - 25th of April

Recommended Posts

Didn't see that coming at all. McNulty deserved MotM, put a hell of a shift in. Nothing to moan about him today. The build up play from Harkes for the 3rd goal was great to see.

Our defence has rarely looked so comfortable this season.

Credit to Dundee united.

This is the performance they were going for at Ibrox where they gave Rangers a torrid first half hour. Quick play and pressing. They never got the goal and eventually Rangers quality showed and they ended up well beaten.

Would be interesting if they go for it again if they happen to play Rangers in the semi or final.

Aberdeen on route to becoming bottom 6 stragglers next season. Love to see it.

It’s like when they sacked Calderwood after he consistently got them top six. They then had a period where they were bottom six regulars, till McInnes arrived.

Definitely one of those grass isn’t always greener on other side instances. Time will tell but that’s how I see it going.

The Hibs fans enjoying this result more than their one last night. I suppose we should take that as a compliment.

On the contrary - this is just a rather nice Brucie bonus.  **** to get knocked out for the full house though.

Clark much better playing further forward, but everyone played well today. Credit to Mellon for persevering, and ignoring the criticism that's been building. Have to say Aberdeen surprised me with their lack of urgency and movement, the defence looked poor and the rest of the side seemed to suffer from their lack of  composure. Hayes was especially poor.

Don't like how I can't hate Micky Mellon. Want to think he's a b*****d, but he just seems like a decent, if a bit boring, guy.

Much easier when it was Neilson in charge.

He managed to stifle a laugh when he was asked, “you must feel there’s not much more to be done”.

Simply not true, Joey. Folk will laugh at you when your team gets pumped, its not a new concept.
